** This post was supposed to go up yesterday but we had a really bad wind storm Saturday night that knocked out our power so this post is going to be longer than a week's worth of play. When I say the week I mean a Sim week, and yesterday I played for about 5 hours straight. So let's see what Mr. Disney got himself into.
The first thing Mickey did was play with Pluto and they quickly became companions. Living close to the beach these two are able to walk and go on adventures a lot! It helps that Mickey works from home as a Freelance Writer.
During the welcome home party he met (Supriya) and they are best friends. She comes over all the time. One of my favorite things about this lot is there are always so many people walking around and it's so easy to meet new people. He met (Katrina Caliente) and just like S she came over sometimes and it was so funny because he would be sitting at the table working on his job stuff and they would just stand at the door looking in! Mickey was definitely busted not answering the door while he was home that day.

Mickey's to the point where everyone, even people he doesn't know, just shows up at the house! The good with that is no one just walks in unless they have a key. The downside is some people can really bum him out or make him mad, such as Vlad. Good ol' Vlad popped in one day and it was crazy! He was at the door on the second day and I'm trying to get through his aspiration goals by meeting people so a new person at the door is fantastic. Well not really. Mickey went to the door and they did introductions and then instantly got sad! Mickey has the 'Good' trait so whenever he is around a Sim who has the 'Evil' trait he will always react negatively. Mickey walks away from Vlad and gets food and bam Vlad does his little poofy smoke magic and teleports into the house! Poor Mickey couldn't get away from the guy. It wasn't until we asked him to leave that Vlad disappeared!

After this Mickey's life became pretty boring. He had regular visits with S, worked, and hung out with Pluto all the time. We finally got out of that rut and started going to the festivals and collecting flowers and other collectibles. We started in the Spring and there were flowers everywhere we went! Side note I think it would be fun if every generation completes one of the collections! At the festivals, we met Luna Vilarreal. Guys I really wanted to age her up into a young adult! I think she would have been an amazing Minnie and these two became best friends so fast! She was even flirting with him. I have MCCC and Slice of Life within my game and in my head, Mickey just became a young adult and she's about to become a young adult so that gray zone isn't too bad because in real life seniors in high school date freshmen in college. But I decided a different townie had a better connection with Mickey and is a young adult too. (Stay tuned to see who became Minnie)

After the Romance Festival Mickey started picking up the painting skill because we needed more money coming and I didn't want him to just sit there working all day on his computer! Literally one of the saddest things is watching Pluto come up to Mickey begging for attention while he is working! That was another reason I wanted another person in the house with Mickey.

So I'm going to end this post here with two final pictures. The first is a list of Mickey's skills at the end of the first week. He's doing pretty well and becoming pretty well rounded. I still think he needs to max out more than just Charisma. I don't have a lot of challenges for Mickey and I'm trying to get more for him but at the same time, I have a lot planned for his children so maybe it isn't a bad thing to not have a whole lot planned out so far. Then the second picture shows how many people he knows at this time. I should've added a picture of his progress on his aspiration but I didn't take one during this time. I'll start doing that now on. (Sorry they were taken with my phone! I'm not sure how to get pictures of them on my computer just yet.)
