Gen 2: Wendy Disney

Since we have been so heavily involved in Aubrey and Maleficent's lives we haven't really gotten to see much of Wendy and Adam. I'm going to make a post for Adam soon too but let's start with Miss Wendy. Wendy is now a child in my game. I thought this would be a nice little catch up on what she is doing. Her story doesn't really start until she's a teenager and the twins need to age up before she can. So she may be aging up in a week, hopefully!

So far Wendy is a very happy and helpful child, which I think really correlates with her movie counterpart. Wendy in the movies was always a family oriented person who loved to tell stories to her brothers. If I would've throughout her storyline a little more I think I would've made her the oldest child since she was in the movie. But she's our surprise baby and the youngest so we are just rolling with the punches.

Since she is supposed to be a family-oriented sim I've been trying to make sure she has a really close relationship with everyone in her house, especially her brother. Steve has always been really close with Wendy since he is in scouts and one of the badges he needed to get was entertaining a toddler! So their relationship is one of the highest in the house. Even today Steve will play chess with Wendy! 

I think as soon as Steve completes all of the childhood aspirations I'll age him and Adam up, which should hopefully be soon! 

The next person I think was really easy for Wendy to build up her relationship with on her own was Aubrey. Aubrey was such a happy sim that loved to talk so that helped her build relationships really fast and I would always see Wendy and Aubrey having meals together. I think their personalities are really close to each other. 

Wendy is the youngest child in the house doesn't have a close relationship with Maleficent. They are nice to one another since they are sisters, but they aren't best friends. Same with the twins, they are nice to Wendy and she even has a close relationship with Steve, but ultimately the twins are each other's best friends. So Wendy tends to be on her own a lot.

 

But one perk of having older siblings is that they bring their friends over a lot! Both Steve and Aubrey had clubs that they led and participated in so they would bring tons of people over to the house. Wendy loved it when there were other kids at the house and she would take the opportunities to make new friends. She was hanging out in Steve's room with one of the members of Steve's Scouting Club. At the time the scouting club had to play with the science table so she was keeping him company while he practiced his science. 

Even when the teen club would have meetings Wendy would dance with them, here she is dancing and she stops to hug Maleficent. The two girls aren't close but like I said they are friendly because they are siblings. I think if Wendy was older or if Maleficent was younger than they would have the same type of relationship as Maleficent has with Aubrey but with Wendy. 

But when the teens do meet Wendy does tend to sneak off and do her own thing. She seems to get a little flustered since they are older than her and she doesn't want to annoy them. So after she danced with them for a little bit she went outside to swim! Umm Wendy it is raining, maybe this isn't the best idea!

The next day after school Wendy, Maleficent, and Steve did their homework and ate together. They are best friends and love to spend time together. We don't see them together very often. Maleficent has been working secretly on her spellcasting and Steve is working on his scouting.

The Disney Family Update

The new Disney house is in Willow Creek and has so much to offer for the family. We have already seen everything that is inside the house but we haven't seen the outside or even the Disney family inside it enjoying their new home. So let's see what the Disney family is up too.

Unfortunately, we moved into the house towards the end of fall and beginning of winter so the pool is pretty much unused since we moved in but there are tons of other things that are in the house for the family. So let's jump into the story!

Maleficent and Adam love hanging out on the playground that I downloaded from the gallery. This thing is awesome! The creator did such fantastic work on it and it looks so cool!

Ever since Aubrey aged up into a teen these two have become such good friends. I think they have a lot of the same characteristics but soon Maleficent is going to start down her evil path while Adam starts getting more spoiled and arrogant.

While the two are outside playing I caught Dina and Mickey in the living room dancing! I swear it doesn't matter the sim or even the gam whenever there are music players in the house the sims are always listening to music or dancing. 

In the background of Dina and Mickey dancing, you can see the house is starting to fill out more. There are pictures that the Disney's have painted, fish bowls holding the fish that they've caught, and even Mickey's postcard collection board. I love clutter just as much as anyone since it really helps fill out the house, but I love it when the Sims use their own stuff to fill it out.

Steve is a scout now and we are working on collecting his badges. The goal is to collect all of the scout badges before he ages up into a teen. He was going around collecting stuff but ended the day fishing. The pictures turned out so good.

Since Aubrey aged up into a teenager, no one really had any club meetings. Before we moved we were having Kidz Klub meetings all the time. Aubrey is such a social butterfly and needed more teen friends too. So Maleficent took over the Kidz Klub and added Adam. Aubrey created a new teens-only club plus Steve made a club for Scout members. It seems like all of the children in the Disney household are flourishing.

Our first week in the new house ended almost just how it started. As we were moving houses Dina was being abducted! I thought it would've not let us move houses since she was being abducted but instead, it stopped her from being taken. Then while we were in the new house right as all of the clubs' meetings were coming to a close Dina once again was being taken. The first time we didn't get many pictures since we were literally in the middle of moving households. But this time we got some really cool pictures!

Gen 1 & 2: Celebrating Summer with the Kidz Klub

It is now summer in my sims world, and I feel like it should still be spring. We really had no time in Spring, even though we had Easter, we just barely talked about it since it fell at the same time as Aubrey staying the week with J. I just think we have so much really going on in the game right now that we have tons of pictures to see and story to tell. So let's jump into it.

The day after the family went to the park together it was the first day of Summer, which in my game I made it a holiday so my sims can enjoy a day off and hang out outside in the water. We started out the day really relaxed with just the family. While Steve was still asleep Adam and Mickey went out to the kiddie pool to play in the water.

While the boys were playing in the pool waiting for the other kids to get up Dina was working on some flower arrangements. She's starting to get really good at them and make some money off of them.

Finally, Maleficent was up and she came outside to see her parents. She asked if it would be okay if she invited over some friends, and as soon as Dina said that it was okay kids started showing up.

Soon everyone, adults included, was playing on the slip n slide! There were just so many fun pictures that came from this one.

But before Mickey could join in on the slip n slide he's busy with Steve. Steve wanted to play in the kiddie pool!

Our beautiful little Disney family ended their perfect holiday working on Maleficent's school project. It was so cute because after all of the kids went home everyone in the household was helping Maleficent complete her project before school the next day.

Gen 1 & 2 - Family Park Day/Kidz Klub Meeting 2

The day after Dina and Mickey aged up into adults they took the whole family to the same park that they got married at. They showed the family where they got married, and since then the park added a toddler playground. It was such a cute family day. Since the whole family was enjoying the day at the park Dina asked Aubrey if she would like to invite some of her friends over and then the rest of Kidz Klub showed up! The club even added some more members to it.

While the club was hanging out other kids started showing up to play. Next thing I know the whole park is filled with kids and toddlers just hanging out and playing! There was even a third redhead child that looked like she could be sisters with Aubrey and Kassandra, and as far as I know, she isn't related to the girls. My game is so filled with drama it's crazy!

Towards the end of the day, I found one of the funniest pictures that I took during this outing. In the middle of the park is a water fountain and it is surrounded by chess boards. Dina, Aubrey, and Mickey are all sitting at different tables all playing chess! Why would they not sit together and play chess together!? At least two of them could do it!

Gen 2: Meeting 1 of the Kidz Klub

Since making the Kidz Klub you all haven't gotten to see much of what's been going on. So far in the game, the Kidz Klub has been meeting at least twice a week every week. They don't have a set club hangout so they bounce around throughout all of the worlds. The first time the kids all got to hang out was right before Aubrey went home from J. Here is what happened.

As soon as Aubrey and Kassandra got home from school one day Aubrey invited the club over to J's house to hang out. As soon as everyone arrived on the lot they started playing and making a mess!

One of the biggest things that the club focuses on is skill-building and homework. So as soon as everyone arrived at the house the children all started working on their homework. We had kids at the kitchen table, some were at the desks in the girls' room, and then there were even a couple on the couch in the living room working. Even though some of the kids were actually in the club they invited all of their friends over so there was more than just the club hanging out at the house.

At this time J hadn't built everything in the backyard for the girls yet so they only had their monkey bars and the toys in their room to play with. One of the ways for the children to gain points for their club is to play with playground toys or just toys in general.

I kept hoping that Maleficent would hangout with Max Villareal so it could be like the stepping stone to evil for her, and they do have a high relationship level. But she just kept spending most of her time Evie, which was super cute! Eventually, everyone started leaving and left Aubrey playing with Kassandra with the playhouse in their bedroom. These two are quickly becoming best friends, and I think it is making Maleficent a little jealous and feeling left out.
