Someone's Getting Married!

I know I said that I would have Aubrey live with the Huntingtons for a while, especially through college but she didn't go to college. She started a job as a Style Influencer right after she graduated high school and I thought about her staying with the Huntingtons and she did for a little while, but she and Orange were out one day and they were so adorable and he happened to propose to her! I didn't tell him too I have it where they can propose whenever they want too, but they can't get married on their own. I'm just happy we were there to witness them get engaged! I think Orange was really riding the wave of getting his celebrity star and he was placing it on the boardwalk when he proposed to her! It was so cute how everyone was there to support him and then he finished the night off by proposing to Aubrey! I had no clue if she would say yes or no because I was currently playing in Orange's perspective but it all worked out for the happy couple!

Orange surprised everyone by finishing out the night by proposing to his high school sweetheart!

Of course, the paparazzi was there to take tons of pictures of this special occasion!

Since this beautiful couple got engaged I spent a couple days with them! First off I guess in the update they fixed Get Famous because Orange is able to work freely now! So we did some jobs with Orange! We also moved Aubrey in right after they got engaged. We helped her get promoted and settled in with her job. Since she is a Style Influencer she has to up her writing skills so she has been writing books, and from there she gets famous points so Aubrey has taken up making videos too! While she has been living in with Orange's family she has gotten really close with Daryl and Octavia. Thorne is still his usual self so he is hardly home and when he doesn't have much to do with the family.

I did do a lot of CC shopping yesterday to get a dress for Aubrey to wear during her wedding and I just feel like she would wear a tiara too so I got some options for her to wear during her wedding. I downloaded so much CC for her wedding and it was all just her dresses, rings, and tiaras because I need options! Anyways look at our baby girl! She is so freaking beautiful and I loved this dress on her. Originally I was going for the full-on princess vibes for Aubrey's wedding day but it was a summer wedding and I thought a shorter dress would work out perfectly for her and I also forgot to mention that we got some eyelashes finally downloaded and she just looked perfect! I like to think that the green necklace is from Maleficent for her something borrowed. The girls aren't as close as they used to be growing up but they are still there for each other and Maleficent is very protective over her family. She has even interrogated Orange to make sure that he loves Aubrey the way she deserves and threatened to turn him into a raven if he ever hurts Aubrey! 

Since we gave Aubrey a wedding makeover we also gave Orange one too. He looks great no matter what I put him in which is awesome since I can't always find a lot of male maxis match CC. I didn't think he would go all tux and suit so I put him in this outfit that really looked amazing in him. I love this outfit and I'm always drawn to put this on all my sims, but thankfully he was the only one at the wedding in this outfit!

 

Their wedding took place a couple days after I put them in these outfits. For one they got engaged on a weekday and I wanted to wait until they both had the day off so we had to wait a couple days. This allowed Orange to work a couple more gigs and film a couple more videos for his website. Orange actually had a film to do on Saturday since I wasn't sure how long it would take I didn't plan a wedding to be on Saturday, I thought it would be on Sunday. But it turned out that he finished filming around 3ish so we were able to have the wedding Saturday! It was a very beautiful wedding that actually worked out really well for once. 

I think the hardest part of the whole wedding was actually getting the venue to pop up for them to pick it as their wedding location! I downloaded a venue off of the gallery, it's called Blossom Wedding Venue *-* by Relhcuk1. This venue was amazing! The creator did such great work and it worked out beautifully!

As soon as everyone got to the venue they really just jumped right into the ceremony. I like to get the ceremony done with first because it helps my sims all calm down and get in one area so it worked out really well. I kind of wish I downloaded the mod that allowed me to have as many people as I wanted over but it worked out well. Also, I want to mention that I didn't bring any of the toddlers since I didn't want to waste my invite on a toddler. It was mostly family with some friends. I'm shocked that the paparazzi didn't show up either. So it was really nice.

And just like that folks we now have a new family on the family tree! I'm going to add Orange to the Plumtree soon and update everyone's traits since a lot of them have been updated. They look so adorable together and even after the ceremony the sims all hung out and took tons of pictures it was a really fun successful wedding.

After the ceremony, our two lovebirds went and mingled with their family and friends! Aubrey went and talked to her sister Nina, while she was talking her legs disappeared! They ended their conversation with a selfie. Aubrey kept taking pictures with everyone! It was so adorable. I love these pictures. 

While walking around Aubrey ran into Maleficent and of course, they needed to take pictures together. These two are so adorable and have been through so much. Aubrey is the first sim to learn about Maleficent's spellcasting and she has always supported her. Since watching the newest Maleficent movie I have been questioning our Maleficent's path. I do think she should be very protective of her family but she is about to be facing some serious heartbreak! Maleficent hasn't had the luckiest relationships and her life has been pretty rocky lately since Dina and Mickey found out about her spellcasting! But the Disneys are a very strong family and I'm sure they will get past this.

One of the tasks at the wedding is to eat the wedding cake and even though I hired services and made one of the bathrooms into a kitchen they never cook the cake so Aubrey stole off to make it herself. It turned out great and it was nice change to get away from everyone for a little bit. 

While Aubrey cooked I was able to spend time people watching and since I didn't have Disney's point of view I just had to steal pictures whenever I could. Orange took the opportunity to get a picture with Octavia. Even though his parents weren't always around Orange never questioned his relationship with his mom and she's always been one of his top supporters. Wait until you see the wedding present she got Orange and Aubrey!

The cake was finally done so Aubrey and Orange headed over to the table to cut it. I love the cake animation that the Sims has. It's so cute. I just wish they would smash it into each others faces because I know first hand how fun that cake fight thing can be! I got married in real life a couple weeks ago and we had a cake fight and let me tell you that it was the best cake I've ever had!

While they do the whole cake thing Aubrey spotted Kassandra and had to go take a picture with her! Even after all the drama that went down, we couldn't hold that against Kassandra! She didn't know that J wasn't her biological dad and as far as they are all concerned he is her father. I might cut the family free in a little bit so they can go off and do their own thing for a little while. 

After Aubrey took a picture with Kassandra Aubrey went around and took some random pictures of all of her guests. It was adorable and fun to see. I'll label who is who since some of them we haven't seen much in the story yet.

The wedding was a hit with everyone and had so much fun. They were adorable and it went so smoothly which is highly unusual for sims. After the festivities died down there was one more surprise left, Octavia's present for the new couple. It was something that Octavia thought about doing since Aubrey moved in and finally thought it was time that her baby moved out and into his own home. Since he is now a global superstar on his own right and she wanted him to live nearby she was able to buy a house in the pinnacles right beside their house in Del Sol Valley! This mega-mansion came with everything this couple will ever need and they did renovate the garage into a huge studio so they can continue to film videos, make music, and write books. But other than that it is ready for them to expand their family whenever they choose too! 

This is another lot that I downloaded from the gallery and like I mentioned I really didn't need to do any work to it other than add some of their personal stuff to it and renovate their garage. I love that people are putting garages into the house but we don't use cars in the Sim and I thought the space could be a better workplace so I renovated one of the garages. I thought its really truly the perfect space for them. Anyways its called Celebrity Dream Mansion by AnyaSims82.
