He's a Hero!

We have been doing pretty well on not having any house fires for a really long time. I think the last time we had any house fire was when Maleficent was practicing her magic and she accidentally set everything on fire, but it was small and she was able to get it out before anyone found out. This time though everyone home AND the stove just started burning! My only guess is that someone was cooking and then just left it in the stove without finishing their food because no one was over there when the fire started and it took me a minute to find it!

Ignore the messy counter! They haven't cleaned yet and we have been bouncing around so much in the past few posts that cleaning just wasn't a thing.

Once I finally figured out it was the stove that was on fire I was lucky that Steve was right there. Steve didn't even really freak out he pretty much just jumped right into action to extinguish the fire before it could hurt any of his family.

Once the fire was put out and everything was replaced Maleficent and Adam got to tell Steve that they were really thankful for Steve and how much they appreciate him putting the fire out! I think this is really giving Steve that hero bug that we needed him to get since he is supposed to be our Captain America.

I thought it would be perfect for Steve to put the fire out because not only is he a scout I think that he is supposed to be that hero persona I think this might help him step into those feelings. He just saved his whole entire family, even though it was just a small stove fire, he did stop it before it could spread and hurt his family. I just feel like this is something that will catapult him into this hero persona he is supposed to have. In the movies when we first met Steve Rogers he was trying to get into the military so that he can save his country, but he was being denied every time. I think this will give him the hero bug because he really loved saving his family like this.
