Romance Festival.....Again!

Steve has been working super hard. We saw in the last couple of posts that he is working really hard to get up his character values, his schoolwork, scouts, and even providing for his family! So saying he has a lot on his plate is really an understatement. Between all of this and his exercising he never gets any time for himself or even his friends! So when the Romance festival came to town he dropped his workout for once and went out with a huge group of friends to just have fun and let loose! He met up with a huge group of people among them we had Brittany, Leo, Karla, Audrey, Moriah, and a couple others that we haven't seen in the game before. I really wish I would've thought to add Zander but I didn't plus Steve didn't have him as an option. I really need to age him up so we might have a little aging party soon cause I have a few others that I want to age up as well. So we might have one of those in a couple of posts.

Not only did I want to get Steve out of the house for a little bit but I also wanted to see how he would interact with Brittany and vice versa. In our introduction post to Brittany, I mentioned how I thought she might be Steve's Peggy Carter and we really haven't seen them together recently. Since they were kids they were always really close I honestly felt like she was Steve's childhood crush. But I just don't know and to be frank I don't think the Romance festival solidifies my opinions of her at all in regards to her and Steve. I love Brittany and I think she is adorable. I know she is extremely attracted to Steve but Steve thinks she's basic looking! So I don't know. I think that is wrong, I think he should at least be attracted to her based off of how they were growing up so I might fix that. You'll see what I mean in a minute in regards to Brittany and Steve's interactions. 

After getting the tea Steve headed over to talk to the love guru, however he did not have good things to say about Steve's love life. He said that he would meet someone that he is extremely attracted too and they will fall in love, but they will have a very turbulent relationship that leads to them being separated for decades. However, they will eventually find one another late in life. 

Even though Steve's love guru's advice was not the most optimistic he still spent a moment imagining his future wedding and his perfect dream woman. He knows what the love guru said about his future in regard to romance but he refuses to accept it. He knows he is going to have a very fulfilled life and that is going to include a wife and kids one day even though he is very career-focused at the moment he's still family-oriented. I mean he is literally doing everything he can to support his family since they now have no money and are struggling. This also led to the house being remodeled we ended up making a lot of money by cleaning up and getting rid of a lot of stuff.

As he was dreaming about his future Maleficent called him and asked if he wanted to talk and since he hasn't seen her since Aubrey's crazy baby shower he picked up and talked to her for a little bit before returning to his friends. 

Once he got off the phone he started catching up with Brittany. They haven't hung out in a long time and it was nice seeing them catch up, but maybe during their time apart, she found another man?

The guy standing beside Brittany and Steve is Easton Landgraab and the whole night he and Brittany have been pretty inseparable. I think she has a crush on him or he has a crush on her I'm not completely sure but there is something. Until Steve came back over to the party. Even when she and Steve were talking he stayed close to her so I'm curious to know what relationship is going on there. We might go over to her house soon and find out. I should've done that while we were out but we had a lot going on and I wanted it all to focus on Steve.

I know it seems kind of weird that we invited Karla out with us but I thought it would be fun. She and Steve are friends and she actually met Adam through Steve so I feel like it wasn't that weird that she was there. Obviously, Adam wasn't there and to be fair Karla and Adam aren't on the best terms at the moment since he's been having some extra affairs with the Munch sisters. Audrey is one of the Munch sisters but she is really close to Steve. It's really crazy how this whole thing has been really interlocked with one another. I don't think we would've had that much coincide if these two weren't twins. 

Anyways Karla and Steve actually became pretty inseparable and very flirty. Steve is actually really attracted to her and since she is attracted to Adam she also attracted to Steve since they have very similar attributes. Literally, if I made Adam have the same color eyes and hair they would be identical twins. So it isn't that unusual that she would be attracted to Steve as well. I think she was initially attracted to Steve but Adam acted on it first. I think they would honestly have a lot in common and okay I'm just grasping at straws to keep Karla cause I love her but I haven't found a way to make it work with the story yet. She may just end up being a friend and she's a vampire so she will live forever and we will have a lot of opportunities. Even though I love her I feel like this might be a little too strange to go from brother to brother but I mean it happens in real life. Karla really wants a nice guy because she's nice so I mean if she and Adam break up it could be a possibility. They would be cute. However, I just don't know. 

Karla and Steve ended up sitting down with Leo and talking for hours! Brittany and Moriah were in the conversation here and there but for the most part, it was just Karla and steve talking away. This was all the Sims doing I only intervened when it was time for Steve to go home and even then I added a lot of his friends to the family so they could all go home and hang out together. That's how I found out that both Brittany and Karla were extremely attracted to Steve. I feel like Brittany is literally the female version of Steve because they are both very career-oriented and shy when it comes to their feelings.

We ended up bringing Karla, Brittany, and Leo back to the house to hang out for a little while longer. Steve wanted to show off what they have done to the house and I mean it was a lot of work and you can see more information about that here. Nothing romantic happened between Karla and Steve they just really got to know one another. The potentials there and for once my sims didn't act on it. 

Even though Steve and Brittany had no flirtations going on either they did become best friends! I just don't know if she is his Peggy Carter. If anything she is his Bucky! I don't see him have the same friendship with Leo as I'd hope he would. I'm not going to force a relationship on him. He is very busy and technically we don't need him to have a relationship yet. I just think it would be nice to have more time with her before we lose her. One of Steve's generation things is to fall in love hard young and then lose them, but he finds her again as an elder. I guess technically I could have him live out his happily ever after since that's what Captain America did but we need some tragedy like this. We'll just see what happens. My sims have a way of doing their own thing even when it goes against what I want. 

Although he and his friends have been having an amazing time they have to go home because Steve's curfew is about to start! Since Adam, the Disney family has become more strict in regards to structure in their kids' lives. Steve and Wendy are the only two Disney kids still left at the Disney house. So instead of ending their fun all of the kids went back to the Disney house to continue hanging out in the newly renovated house!

A Huge Remodel!

I love the Disney house! It is one of the first builds I ever made, in my whole time playing the sims, that I didn't hate how the build turned out. Even the roofing didn't disgust me here. We take a lot of family pictures in the house and on the land around it. We have had so many birthdays, parties, and even births in this house. As time has gone on in this house we have transitioned through all stages, and even witnessed our first death. Since our family has been growing smaller and the members in the house have gotten older I think it is appropriate to renovate the house to fit our needs. We didn't do much to it, but at the same, I changed a lot. I think the exterior really hasn't changed at all, but the inside has changed quite a bit. We've actually lost two bedrooms so this house is now a 4 bedroom house. I moved the stairs and layout of the main floor and second floor. The only level that didn't change much was the basement and the only thing I did there was make the walls to mesh with the top layers so that the ground wouldn't mess up around the house. The color scheme is pretty much the same. I would love to update the outside but at the same time, I love how it looks so I don't think I'm going to do anything. We only have one area that really isn't done and I don't think it will be unless we add a bedroom or come up with something to do with the dead space. As you'll see in this house and in Maleficent's house my current obsession is when you can look over the railing to the main floor so I had to do that in the Disney house. I never liked how the stair situation looked in this house so I'm glad to have changed that around. I just felt like they stuck out too much. To be honest, I liked the stairs going upstairs, my issues were with the basement stairs they just seemed awkward to me and I had no clue how to fix it and at the time I was just done building and loved how it came out overall so I was done with it. Up until now we only had minor changes here and there to make it more functional. I think my favorite thing that I added is the family wall. We already had the wall started but I feel like I have it perfected now. We have a little bit of everyone up on the wall now. I can't wait to put the twins up there!

Aubrey's Babies

In the last post, we talked about how the family pretty much had a family meeting to discuss everything that Adam did and towards the end, we got to see that Miss Aubrey is pregnant! I know I said that Aubrey and Orange are moving more towards side characters and they are, but we are still going to see them from time to time and they are still apart of the family. I really contemplated ending the family tree with Aubrey for that branch, meaning that she would never have any kids mostly because she isn't part of the story. But I couldn't have her and Orange have kids. I mean they are going to have adorable babies so I thought that we should do it. But I do have a little ulterior motive for wanting the baby. I want Judith to have a baby friend. Right now we don't really have that many toddlers in the game other than NPC and Judith. I don't want or plan on aging her up either just so that she can have friends. I have plans for their whole family and we need her to be a toddler until we can get this going.

Orange and Aubrey decided that they wanted to do a maternity photoshoot at the Disney house because this is where she grew up and this house will always mean so much to not just Aubrey but also to Orange. Orange's family is completely different from the Disney family because they are definitely workaholics and Orange didn't have this tight-knit family lifestyle that the Disneys have. Aubrey understands how Orange feels and feels lucky for her sister Dina who took her in as a baby and raised her as her own child. Since the whole family was already at the Disney household for their family dinner the soon to be parents took a bunch of pictures. They turned out AMAZING! I've even created some into CC and added to their house!

I'm sorry for the tons of pictures above I just had so much done this little photoshoot. Like I mentioned above I pulled these pictures into some custom content so that they can have some pictures in their house of them. This is just how I choose to clutter my sims house because it really personalizes it to the sims, and this is just something I would do in real life. I have pictures everywhere and I love building and crafting stuff so that is why I always use my sims' stuff to clutter around their house. If you want to see how I make the pictures below I just made a tutorial post that came out a couple days ago about how I did this. My advice is to watch the videos along with what I said because I tried to be as detailed as possible with pictures but I don't know if I went too detailed.

Sorry for the side tangent. But after the pictures were done and the dinner was eaten Aubrey and Orange went home, but before leaving Aubrey slipped a bunch of money into the Disney account for her family. She hates that Adam left them like this and will always do whatever she can for them. But the couple was too riled up from the travel to go to bed so Aubrey started working. She is currently making music, videos, and paintings along with her style influencer career and writing. She is one busy woman which is why she has started attracting her own celebrity level. She's even currently signed with Maxis Music Machine who expects her to produce an album every single day! The Bailey-Moons are not struggling for money, but she loves being able to contribute her own money and to be honest, I don't see Aubrey as a sim that would just let someone take care of her. She's had a little bit of a hard life and definitely likes being able to take care of herself and others so being able to provide her own money makes her feel good.

 

Even Orange got in on working, but he instead worked on his acting level. We are currently trying to max his acting level even though he is already a global superstar. Aubrey also had to finish a column for work so she is busy typing away at the computer while her husband works. I'm still obsessed with his facial hair I swear I never have a sim that looks good in it but Orange just rocks it. 

The next day the love birds were lucky to work from home. I think both Orange and Aubrey would take this pregnancy really seriously and take it easy since this is their first baby and they have no clue what to expect. Maleficent just had Judith, but Aubrey wasn't there a lot during her pregnancy since Maleficent kept it a secret so long. Plus they both have careers where they can work from home if they want too and be completely honest they make so much money from their videos and music that they could probably just live on that alone and still be fine. Once Aubrey finished her work stuff she decided that it would be fun to film some videos around the house, show off her baby bump some, and just have fun so she asked Orange if he wanted to come to play some games, and of course, he said yes. 

I really wanted them to bowl but since Aubrey is pregnant she can't bowl right now so instead they started off playing foosball. Aubrey dominated! She played this game so hard and ended up beating Orange. 

They have a bunch of other things in their game room so instead of challenging Aubrey for a rematch Orange challenged her to a round of ping pong. Well, ping pong is not one of Aubrey's strong suit. She missed it so much. Even though the Sims 4 gets a lot of heat for certain things, I really love these games in here because the animations are so good, I literally sat there and watched Aubrey or Orange miss the ball. But the score really confused me because I know Aubrey missed more than what the score ended up being but Orange ended up winning this game but a lot. Aubrey just kept missing the ball. She got better as the game went on but not good enough to beat Orange. 

We ended up having one more game that the couple was able to play, and amazingly enough, the drone still had battery left to record it so Aubrey challenged Orange to darts! At first, Orange was failing horribly. He kept dropping the darts or they weren't hitting the board very well. But Aubrey was killing it! She even got a bullseye on her first try! So I really thought Aubrey was going to win this time. But when the results came out Aubrey lost. 

Orange has even started cooking! He is really trying to up as much as the home skills that he can such as cooking, charisma, and even parenting skills. I think this is his form of nesting since Aubrey's getting closer to her third trimester. He is also doing this stuff to spoil his girl. He wants to alleviate as much stress from her life as possible. Aubrey has definitely noticed all of this and has even told him that if he wants to go back to work he has time to do a gig or two before the baby arrives. Although Aubrey adores his attention and his doting on her she knows his career is important to him and wants to support him just as much. But Orange refuses to even look at gigs right now since he wants to make sure he is always there for everything Aubrey might need.

So they both continue to work as much as they can right now. Their goal is to put out as much content as they can so that they can take a long break when the baby gets here. They want to adjust to parenthood on their own terms and not have to worry about money or work until the baby is at least a toddler. They still have no clue what they want to name him or her or even what the baby is! They decided that they wanted to be surprised and will name the baby when he or she decides to arrive. 

But even with being super busy with work and preparing for the baby they still make time to just be together. These two are always flirting with one another and making sure they are close to each other, like working in the same room. I've said it before but these two so remind me of Mickey and Dina, they both have this type of relationship where they can just hang out and be happy with one another. Kind of like they really complete one another. I just love it so much and they are adorable together! I can't wait to meet their baby!

This wouldn't be a Disney update without some drama so here it is! Aubrey is finally in her third trimester and for the first time ever she got an invite to come to a baby shower! I've never seen it and to be honest I'm not sure if it is from the game or a mod that I have downloaded. The only reason I was a little hesitant to go to it was that Adam was throwing it! As we all know Adam stole all of the money that Mickey just won from the lottery plus some leaving the Disneys with hardly no money whatsoever! Aubrey really didn't want to go but Orange wanted to know what he was up too. Plus the party was being held at the Delgato house who have been really close family friends for forever so Orange thought it would be okay to go see what was going on. Aubrey eventually agreed and said that she would only go if her siblings went with them so Maleficent and Steve met them at the house for Aubrey's surprise baby shower. When they first got there Adam was there, but he just left. I guess he thought she would come alone and they would be able to talk but that just wasn't the case. As the party was going on they saw Octavia was there and Aubrey was even able to talk to Supriya about Adam! She said that she had no clue he did that and just wanted to do something nice for Aubrey and Orange. So the family put aside their hate for their brother and had fun to celebrate the new bundle of joy that was on his or her way. 

Supriya and Justin Delgato. Supriya was the first person Mickey met when moving to Brindleton Bay and became his best friend. Even to this day, she appears at the Disney house to hang out with him. Their kids all grew up together and Aubrey had spent a lot of time here in the Delgato house. 

But while they were at the baby shower Aubrey's water broke and she went into labor! It was time for the baby to come and of course Orange freaked out in true sim fashion. But he did really good at the hospital. Until Maleficent had Judith I haven't had a sim have a baby in the hospital in a really long time so I was curious how another sim would react. Dina was with Maleficent but disappeared before we even checked in. So this time I had Orange come along and I had him stay with Aubrey the whole time! He actually did really well and stayed with her pretty much on her own. I only had to intervene a couple of times and it was because he was freaking out too hard to keep up with Aubrey as she was heading back to delivery.

I just love how sad Aubrey looks and then behind her Orange is doing his freak out run and running behind her! 

So Aubrey had a baby girl! We named her Jacklyn! I thought that was a really nice Hollywood name that would be fitting for this legacy she was born into! We even got to see Aubrey snuggle her here at the hospital. But what we are missing is that she actually had twins! And the other baby was a boy! We ended up naming him Fabian! I just felt like it was perfect even though it doesn't really go with Jacklyn or even old Hollywood. So I might change it but for now, it is Fabian. I just really had no plans for them so I just let Sims name their kids. But now that I'm picturing Hollywood royalty I think their names should be Jacklyn for Jackie Kennedy and obviously Walt for Walt Disney. But if I change their names you'll see it in future posts as well as on the family tree which I will be updating soon. I also have a little project that I want to do with the family tree.

Twins at home. They are currently sharing the same room with their parents. Aubrey is super protective and it makes it easier for everyone to get to them down here versus being upstairs in their own rooms.
