Grandparent's Sleep Over

Mickey and Dina have been feeling a little lonely. Both Wendy and Steve are now teens and they are now the only ones still at home. Plus everything with Adam. They only take jobs when the money is running low. But that hasn't happened lately. Meanwhile, our new parents are struggling a little bit. Orange and Aubrey are trying to figure out a good balance between work and family plus going from being new parents to having four children! Maleficent and Morgyn only have Judith and pretty much have gotten into the groove of being parents but parenthood is definitely taking over their lives and I feel like their relationship is suffering. Dina even went over to Glimmerbrook to check on them and decided it was time to have a toddler sleepover. Let's be honest Morgyn and Maleficent have always had a rocky relationship and now that they are parents they have put those roles before their relationship which all parents in the beginning kind of lose themselves some in the baby world. But Judith is definitely old enough to go spend a weekend with Mickey and Dina in Willow Creek while Morgyn, Maleficent, Aubrey, and Orange go out on a double date. Daryl and Piper are also going to be gone because they are going to be spending the weekend with Thorne and Octavia at home! 

Dina and Mickey have a lot planned for the kids and while they are here the parents are going to go on vacation and you'll get to see all that fun tomorrow! So let's see how these kiddos weekend went. 

As soon as they got dropped off they were all over the place! Judith was hungry so we were able to get her a sippy and she was pretty in love with Dina's rocking chair. 

Although I tried my hardest to keep them all in the same place and have them all have fun uh they were ALL OVER THE PLACE! I cannot get them all to stay in one place. This picture of Judith I think summed up this whole experiment! But she so fell in love with Peter's Shadow. I don't know what it is but he can make everyone fall in love with him. 

Since I remodeled the Disney house we no longer had a spare bedroom or anything for a toddler room so I decided to redo the game room temporarily and make it into a place for them all to sleep. I put all three beds in there and some toys for them. I put the girls on one side and Fabian got his own little area. 

Mickey had a lot of fun showing off his dance skills and teaching Fabian how to dance! I think they really bonded over it. I love and hate that they love to dance so much because they dance ALL THE TIME. But moments like this it was perfect! We even had a little toddler dance party!

Mickey and Dina decided that it would be fun to take the toddlers to where they got married! This park has been so special to this family. We had Mickey and Dina's wedding, the kids grew up playing here, and now it's where gen 3 gets to play.

While Mickey and Dina had the kids at the park they were playing chess and they were talking about their wedding. They ended up deciding that they should renew their vows! The toddlers and Wendy and Steve were all there and they all had a lot of fun and it was so cute! It was just perfect for them. 

After we renewed their vows it was almost time for the kiddos to go home but we made sure to get some family pictures in with the grandparents and the toddlers. I think they came out pretty great except for the counter. 

But even though they had a ton of fun this weekend they definitely took a lot out of the Disney fam! Just look at what was leftover when the kiddos went home. Poor Steve could barely stay awake and Wendy passed out in the hot tub. Peter was one of the true heroes because he was able to watch everyone while everyone was sleeping.

Hello Beautiful People, 

I know I've been MIA for the last couple of weeks and there hasn't been much explanation about it. I have been really active on Instagram though. So why have I been MIA? Well, I'm in college working on my master's, and my school's fall semester ended yesterday. Not just the end of the semester for me but it was also my last semester for my master's program. I have been working on it since last year and we wrapped it all up today with my graduation ceremony. But anyone that's ever gone to school knows that the last couple of weeks is full of stuff that needs to be turned in. For example, I had 6 papers and a presentation due this past week alone and we just got the assignments either the week or almost two weeks before. Welcome to a master's program. Plus I work full time. So I've had a lot on my plate. But now I'm free. I have time to do things like play Sims and have fun again in my free time. 

Even though I've been MIA I haven't been completely gone. I've been working on the Belle project over on Instagram and if you follow me over there you've seen that we have been following around these completely new sims that are all young adults living in the same household. These sims I introduced over here the week before. The group is apart of candidates that I wanted to be like a competition on who gets to be our 'Belle.' I wanted to make everyone more involved so I decided to let everyone vote on who it would be. We did the quarter-finals last Thursday and had the final 4 yesterday. Today I was able to post the semi-finals and let me tell the quarter-finals about killed me! I love all 8 of these sims but there are some that I love more than others and I was obviously rooting for them. Since we are still having the competition going on I don't want to say who was my favorites or who were the two I really wanted to come down to. But I will we should have the final results probably Tuesday so on Wednesday's post I will have my thoughts on it and explain what I thought throughout each round!

In some more exciting news I know this week is Thanksgiving in the United States and I really wanted to do something. I haven't really celebrated holidays over here except when they happen in the game because I just haven't. Even now I'm not really acknowledging the holiday in the story I'm just celebrating it in my own way. This week we will have posts every single day starting today and ending next Sunday. I have a plan set out with what's going to happen when but I don't have them completely finished so I'm not sure what time they are all coming out each day but I think I'm going to try to do them at noon on each day, but there will be a couple that has multiple posts. The basic outline is to see the toddlers hanging out with the grandparents, going on some dates, aging up the twins, some revenge, and even a death of at least one of the Disney family members. So happy holidays! 

My goal is to go back to posting my normal schedule 3-4 times a week next week. I have been slacking on the Tag Tuesdays even before I went MIA and that is going to come back for sure. That post isn't going to happen every week but I'll try to have them because I love showcasing cool creators or creations. Another addition added to the rotation is our Maxis Monday posts. I love showcasing CC that I have in my game and I want to continue doing that every month. But I don't like how they take up a post that goes with the story so I decided that it is going to stand in its own place. So from now on when I make the posts about the CC that I found it is going to be published on Monday.

A Little Check In: Maleficent's Life

I know today's Tuesday and today should be a little appreciation post, especially since I didn't have one last week but I know a lot of people have been asking to see how Maleficent's been doing and I honestly haven't had much time working on my sims stuff because school and I've not been feeling so great so I thought that it would be nice to do a little check-in post and see how Maleficent's family life is going. Maleficent has been splitting her time between work, family, and revenge. Plus the last time we were with these guys Morgyn was talking to Mickey about proposing to Maleficent! 

Maleficent has been scouring the web for the best ways to get revenge on her brother Adam! Whenever she has free time she is exploring different ideas but she keeps going back to her spellcasting. But the more she looks into it the more she thinks Adam deserves a potion. Something that can make him look how he truly acts! 

But whenever she works too long on her computer Judith always ends up coming into her office to distract her from her crazy thoughts. She loves always having one of her parents home. Morgyn works during the day and Maleficent is home but when he gets home she then goes to work. This is great for Maleficent but I think their relationship is definitely taking a toll. At least they have some of their days off together and Morgyn can always work from home so they have tons of family time. 

But even though someone is always home with Judith that doesn't mean the adults don't get any alone time either. Morgyn is still working on his spellcasting in his free time because he only had untamed magic maxed out when we started playing as him in the game. I want to max out all of his spellcasting so that he and Maleficent are on the same level. But they really enjoy the TV in the loft too. I think it's convenient to have the little living space right at the top of the stairs because they are close to Judith's room so they can easily watch over her while she's taking naps and see the front door in case anyone comes over. I just really love these little spaces at the moment. 

Judith typically eats here all the time too. It makes life easier to have this area so I figured why not let's add a mini fridge to make my life easier when feeding the lil toddler! It kind of mixes right in since it's tiny enough to sit right beside the stairs and radio. Now I don't have to worry about getting food for the child. I swear I never use the highchair in the game unless I just want to take some cute pictures.

But Morgyn still has downtime where he doesn't have much going on. We can do all of the spellcasting training and conservation as possible but at the end of the day, he still has time in between sleeping and caring for himself and taking care of Judith. So we took up some hobbies. Maleficent has a bouquet area that she picked up from Dina so Morgyn started trimming these bushes whenever they grow out.

He even started working on his woodworking. To be honest I love having a sim in every household that is good at building so that they can upgrade EVERYTHING in the house and repairing stuff. It just makes my sims lives easier. In the Disney house, we had Mickey here we have Morgyn. But I feel like Judith is going to inherit that little trait. I just feel like that is something she would do. Heck, over on Instagram the other day we saw Tinker Bell working on one too! But I feel like Tink being a Tinker Fairy would have to max out her hardworking skill. Anyways Morgyn's been working on a bunch of different traits outside of his 'normal life.'

Plus he is still working on his conservationist career. He seems to really like it and does a lot of his work on his own. We've learned the hard way to stay away from those fire beetle things though. I'm just tired of them catching on fire all the time! 

Maleficent on the other hand definitely loves having a toddler because she can just sprawl out on a hot day in the kiddie pool while Judith takes her nap. They're both really good parents and I love them. But I really want to work on their relationship with each other and figure out their future because I'm not sure how they will end up. I like the idea of them getting married I just don't know if that works well with her story. We'll see what happens. 

Morgyn gets to enjoy the kiddie pool too in between Maleficent getting ready for work and Judith playing in her room. But soon his break would be over and he would be on full-time daddy duty while Maleficent was at work. 

But soon this little cutie will be asleep and then Morgyn starts practicing his chess game. He knows if he wants to beat Mickey then he needs to practice. Last time he just barely lost but who knows. Morgyn has definitely come a long way in this family and I think he will forever be a part of the Disney family regardless of how he and Maleficent play out.

I'm going to try to make you all more interactive with my game instead of just watching all the time. So whenever I can I'm going to. This time I think is going to be pretty fun. I'm either going to today or have already posted a poll on my Instagram for you all to be able to help me figure out who should be Adam's 'Belle!' I'm going to be aging him up in the next couple of posts so I wanted to let you all have the opportunity to vote for who you think will be the best Belle for our story. As always my game is loosely based on Disney's stories. Sometimes I draw inspiration from the books that they're based on, the original animation movies/TV shows, or even their newer movies. So the list below may surprise you a lot! If you've seen Mr. Adam's dating palooza he went on not too long ago, you can see it here, then you know he's very open-minded when it comes to love, and to be honest, my two favorites are Karson and Karla. I just want Adam to not know Belle until after he's already a Beast and has her/him captured. So here is a list of my townies that I added to the game I created 1 and the rest I got off of the gallery. I kind of already introduced them a little bit because originally I wanted them to add to the teens at Adam's parties but I feel like we ended up being pretty okay with how our parties have gone so far. 

I'm going to list their traits but to make things even fairer we can change their traits to make them more Belle inspired if we pick them, I also have more custom traits now that I feel like would be more Belle inspired. That'll be another bridge we will cross later. Right now I'm more concerned with who we want to be Adam's, future love! Another thing I went way, way too in-depth with their backstories. I either created them all myself or drew inspiration from their creators. I also made sure they had at least 2 everyday outfits and I'll tell you more in-depth on what I've changed to the sim as we go through the list. 

I'm going to be posting the voting links in a few different places. The first and most easy (I hope) will be on Instagram I'll have it posted in my story as well as ads to go vote on my Instagram. Right there will be two different ways to vote. Then I'll also post them over in the Facebook groups that I'm in and I'll keep a master count list over on Excel.

I'll even tell you who I hope it is/was after we have a winner because I love all of these sims just the same and I don't want my favorite to win because it's my favorite. One last thing I will add a father figure to whichever sim that wins because I am planning on recreating he/her saving the father from the Beast and taking his place. 

Arya Huntley

Arya is the sim that I created, and I just love her. Her facial features and hair remind me of a lot of Ellie from Degrassi: Next Generation. As soon as she started looking like Ellie I really fell in love with her just couldn't scrap her to just download stuff off of the gallery. Arya currently has the Calm and Extrovert traits, both are custom traits that I got from the amazing Snowiii95! I have basically all of their traits so far. You'll probably see more of them creep up throughout the sims on this list. Her aspiration right now is Leader of the Pack. My original idea for this group for them all to be completely different living in a group home so I tried to make them all different Arya be the one that can just get along with all of them. She just looks like someone that would be so sweet and easy to get along with! Here are her outfits! I tried to showcase all of them and I also tried to go out of my comfort zone a little bit however she would be the one that I stayed within my favorite outfit rotation the most. 

Calvin Chavez

Calvin is one of the sims that I got off of the gallery. He was created by the amazing SimmieSweetness who created 3 of the sims on this list! I'm not the best builder or sim creator but I love story play and dressing them up so I really didn't change much on Calvin. I think the only thing I did for him added an outfit in his everyday queue since he only had 1 everyday outfit. I believe that the guys each only have 2 everyday outfits while the girls have 3-5 outfits. Calvin's traits are Clumsy and Geek so based on those I felt like he would be our hot guy who doesn't know that their hot and is totally a smart nerd who is so precious! I felt like the girls in the house would've had crushes on him but he would just think they're being nice. Kind of a role reverse since normally it's always a girl in the story who just doesn't know that she's beautiful. He currently has the Renaissance Sim aspiration because he wants to do a little bit of everything! Here are his outfits! I tried to keep with his nerdy outfits but still stylish a little bit. I really loved having the freedom to dress these sims up because I got to just have fun with it.

Jackie Davies

Jackie was another one that was created by the amazing SimmieSweetness! She just looks like the classic girl next door, barbie girl! I really loved how she looked and all of these creators created them without CC! I feel like she's our sporty girl of the bunch. I just feel like that's what she would do. But the game currently has her traits as Creative and Art Lover, along with the Painter Extraordinaire aspiration. I mean she feels like she would be the girl next door persona of the bunch. I just really love her and thought she would help round out the bunch. I did give her a couple CC outfits here and there but for the most parts, I left her outfits alone. I added eyelashes to all of these sims and then they automatically got CC eyes since my game has them as default. 

Toby Rose

Toby's our bad boy of the bunch. He was created by SimmersWorld-YT and I just thought he looked so interesting and that he would be good for this group. My goal was to get this bunch as rounded out as possible. I'm pretty sure Toby is probably the one I did the least amount of changes to. I think the only thing I did to him has added another outfit to his Everyday rotation since he only came with 1. His current traits are Romantic and Outgoing with the Party Animal aspiration. Out of all of the sims in this family, I think Toby has the most similar traits to Karson and I really liked how much Adam wanted to spend time with Karson and Karla. Like those 2 relationships truly created themselves because Adam just built them up on his own. I'm really curious how these two would bounce off of one another. Then again I feel like he could potentially be a really good Nick Wilde when Judith ages up but that's literally FOREVER away since she's only a toddler at the moment. Here are his other outfits.

Hillary Hanna

Hillary is our snobby girl, and she was created by the very talented SimmieSweetness. I told you I got a lot of her/his sims! Which I didn't even mean to do I didn't even notice they were all from the same creator until I went back to get the creator's names for my previous intro blog post to them.  In my head, I see her as this little rich girl who's always got everything that she wanted growing up and isn't used to hearing no. I really loved this spoiled girl attitude she came with. AND it made her the perfect sim to model some outfits that I just downloaded from Sentate! Sentate is another creator that makes some really cool CC over on Patreon that I just feel like is really different than what we have in the game, definitely more fierce! You'll see the outfits that she came with and the ones that I added to her because the difference is really stark but at the same time, I feel like they all go so well together on Miss Hillary. Anyways she has the Creative and Snob traits, and to be honest I feel like I should change one of those to Spoiled! I've become really obsessed with these custom traits. I just feel like it gave my game a new fresh breath of air and it has been really fun to play again. Anyways her aspiration right now is Bestselling Author. I don't think I changed any of her traits or aspiration I'm pretty sure it's all the same thing that she came with. So here are the outfits that I keep talking about for her. 

Bastien Lombo

I think Bastien is one of the most interesting sims that I've seen so far in my game. I think he just looks so pretty and different from my other teens. He has gray hair and almost gray eyes! He was created by Vale1968. He's also a pretty muscular guy which you'll see below. But in my head, I kept thinking that he would've been one of the hides in the dark, loner types. Which in my mind when I was adding him to the group he was going to be our loner. He even ended up being the only one in the house to have basically his own apartment in the house. His current traits are Loner and Recycle Disciple and then since we are a house of teens I felt like we needed some hidden talents so his aspiration is Master Chef! I just felt like he would be the chef of the house and that would be how he makes friends is by cooking their dinners since he is out loner boy. I should change the recycle one to shy but I liked that he's kind of building the bridge between everyone else and Bianca who you'll meet last. Again I think the only thing that I changed for this sim was that I added an everyday outfit but that's it, other than the eyelashes and CC eyes. Here are Mr. Bastien's outfits. Oh yeah, I also updated his formal wear to match more of his aesthetic. 

Shawna Peterson

Shawna's another one of those sims that  I downloaded just because of how amazing she looked in the creator's pictures! I just think she looks stunning and I've been dying to use some CC that I that think would look amazing on her and take her hair to a whole other level! She's created by the amazingly talented TheSims18900, who has a lot of other sims. I kept her original outfits and traits but I added more outfits and updated some of her hairstyles. Shawna has the Influencer and Art Lover traits along with the Musical Genius aspiration. I think I changed her traits because I remember downloading her thinking she was going to be our mean girl but the more I played with the outfits I just couldn't make her mean! I mean she looks amazing not like a mean person so I gave her those traits. Looking back I don't think Art Lover really goes with her but I think I did it so that she and Jackie would have something in common. I tried really hard to make the little clicks make sense inside this house. Here are her outfits. I did give her some CC skin details and outfits. One thing that you might notice towards the end of her outfits is the fact that her hair changes a little bit because she ends up having a hairline. One of her braid hairstyles I loved so much but I wanted the picture that the hair has in CAS and she has a few flyaways in the picture unfortunately I don't have the same hair things that they had to make that look so I used the hairline that I had and it looks better but it isn't perfect. It also goes well with the rest of her hairstyles so I left it on her because I really like it more overall even though it's not perfect. 

Bianca Sommer

I intentionally left this beauty for last. I think Bianca physically looks the most like Belle out of all of these amazing sims and I love her! She's probably tied for my favorite of this household at the moment. I just think she looks so interesting and makes you really want to look at her and play the game with her! So I got her added to my game and saw that she is a good clean sim with an edgy side and I loved it even more! I felt like she was going to be our rebellious baddie who has a heart of gold but she's been through some things that made her have to be tough on the outside! I just loved her so much! She currently has the Green Fiend and Maker traits along with the Master Maker aspiration. I feel like that helps her be even more wholesome because all she wants to do is save the world one dumpster at a time! She's another sim that I had so much fun dressing up and playing with the new CC that I got for skin details. One more really cool thing I did for her is made her eye colors different from one another. I really think if it was purely up to my picks she would be a high contender, and definitely tied with my other favorite from this list. 

If you've missed my previous post where I originally introduced all of these kids here it is. But keep in mind my original intention was for them to add more teens to the party scene for Adam versus one of them becoming the new Belle. I will post a little story in the next hour or so of playing in the house so that you can experience them a little more and also to have more pictures to post of them over on my Instagram throughout the week of voting fun.
