Announcement/Apology

 

Hello Beautiful People, 

I know I've been MIA for the last couple of weeks and there hasn't been much explanation about it. I have been really active on Instagram though. So why have I been MIA? Well, I'm in college working on my master's, and my school's fall semester ended yesterday. Not just the end of the semester for me but it was also my last semester for my master's program. I have been working on it since last year and we wrapped it all up today with my graduation ceremony. But anyone that's ever gone to school knows that the last couple of weeks is full of stuff that needs to be turned in. For example, I had 6 papers and a presentation due this past week alone and we just got the assignments either the week or almost two weeks before. Welcome to a master's program. Plus I work full time. So I've had a lot on my plate. But now I'm free. I have time to do things like play Sims and have fun again in my free time. 

Even though I've been MIA I haven't been completely gone. I've been working on the Belle project over on Instagram and if you follow me over there you've seen that we have been following around these completely new sims that are all young adults living in the same household. These sims I introduced over here the week before. The group is apart of candidates that I wanted to be like a competition on who gets to be our 'Belle.' I wanted to make everyone more involved so I decided to let everyone vote on who it would be. We did the quarter-finals last Thursday and had the final 4 yesterday. Today I was able to post the semi-finals and let me tell the quarter-finals about killed me! I love all 8 of these sims but there are some that I love more than others and I was obviously rooting for them. Since we are still having the competition going on I don't want to say who was my favorites or who were the two I really wanted to come down to. But I will we should have the final results probably Tuesday so on Wednesday's post I will have my thoughts on it and explain what I thought throughout each round!

In some more exciting news I know this week is Thanksgiving in the United States and I really wanted to do something. I haven't really celebrated holidays over here except when they happen in the game because I just haven't. Even now I'm not really acknowledging the holiday in the story I'm just celebrating it in my own way. This week we will have posts every single day starting today and ending next Sunday. I have a plan set out with what's going to happen when but I don't have them completely finished so I'm not sure what time they are all coming out each day but I think I'm going to try to do them at noon on each day, but there will be a couple that has multiple posts. The basic outline is to see the toddlers hanging out with the grandparents, going on some dates, aging up the twins, some revenge, and even a death of at least one of the Disney family members. So happy holidays! 

My goal is to go back to posting my normal schedule 3-4 times a week next week. I have been slacking on the Tag Tuesdays even before I went MIA and that is going to come back for sure. That post isn't going to happen every week but I'll try to have them because I love showcasing cool creators or creations. Another addition added to the rotation is our Maxis Monday posts. I love showcasing CC that I have in my game and I want to continue doing that every month. But I don't like how they take up a post that goes with the story so I decided that it is going to stand in its own place. So from now on when I make the posts about the CC that I found it is going to be published on Monday.
