So I've been mentioning how I would sit down and tell everyone who I wanted to win our Belle competition so I'm going to go through each round and tell you what happened and what I wanted to happen. Altogether we had three rounds. We had the quarter-finals, semi-finals, and then the final round. The hardest round I think was the first one, the quarter-finals. We had all 8 contestants and I had to figure out who to compete against and let me tell you I had a few different ways of doing this. At first, I tried to do boys against boys and girls against girls but we only have three guys. So I decided that my 4 favorites would not compete against one another so that made it easier to figure out who was against who.
In this first round, my four favorites were Bianca, Bastien, Jackie, and Arya! To be completely fair and honest Calvin and Arya I really loved both of them but I preferred Arya over Calvin just because I created Arya and felt like she should've been in my top 4.
The Quarter-Finals (First Round)
So with Shawna and Bianca, I really wasn't sure how I wanted this to play out. In the beginning, I was team Bianca all the way but then I started playing in the house and I really fell in love with these two. I think this was honestly the hardest one out of this round because I honestly loved both of them. Shawna is our musician and she is a QUEEN! I love her but she definitely has a resting B face. But she is such a bubbly person and very charismatic. Bianca on the other hand is a green FIEND! She is all about making the world better and she does it one dumpster at a time. We definitely see her all the time because I just had a lot of fun experiencing eco-lifestyle because I haven't really done much with that pack since I got it and with these sims, I really just got to experience new things. I made her eyes different colors because I've been dying to do it with a sim and I was planning on doing it Judith I just don't know about it now since she is going to have gray hair I feel like it might be a little overboard plus I can't do it until she's older anyway so I had a lot of fun giving them to Bianca.
I don't have much to say about these two. Obviously, Bastien's my favorite. He's just different and I a lot of fun getting to know him when we played with him in the household but even then I felt like he would look good with Adam but I would get so bored with him because Adam would walk all over him. Toby on the other hand was just a pretty face and acts a lot like how Adam does now. But this one really close! Bastien just barely won.
This one was another one that was extremely easy! I wanted Jackie to win, however, Hillary did grow on me. I was curious to see who would win because Hillary really looks like the traditional Belle look. She has brown hair and brown eyes. I really put her in the group to be this snobby person but she just kept to herself and been a critic. Jackie is just our sweetheart! I really thought she would be our little tomboy but she was just the little sweetheart.
Arya is probably one of my favorite sims I created and I love her so my loyalties stayed with her but the crowd had spoken and Calvin won. I wasn't too upset with it once I realized he was going to win but in the beginning, I was rooting for Arya! I had to she's the one I really created. The rest came off of the gallery. But if she was going to lose I'm glad she lost to Calvin. He is one pretty sim and he kind of reminds me of McDreamy because of that hair lol.
Semi-Finals (Second Round)
So this round was really interesting I had 4 favorites this time and I really wanted 1 boy and 1 girl to make it to the final round so I was able to put the girls and boys against their own genders this round. I was curious to see who was going to win but at the same time, I wasn't checking this round as much as I was in the previous round. But if I had to pick the final two here I would've gone with Bianca and probably Bastien. Bastien's a chef and Calvin is in a computer science degree so between the two they are pretty self sufficient as far as gameplay. Now as for the girls even though I love Jackie, Bianca is more interactive so far.
Finalists
Now, this was an amazing final two. Throughout all of this, I'm sure you would know that I was pulling for Bianca to win and she not only looks the part but is a lot of fun to play. So our final two is of course Bianca and Calvin. Calvin was my underdog. I really didn't know he was going to be a favorite like he has been. I feel like whoever isn't the winner should be put in the story somewhere I just don't know how yet.
