One of the people that we don't see too much is Steve! Steve is currently a child and the main goal is to collect all of the scout badges. I don't know if he will be able to collect the same badges as a teen or if there are different ones. This is my first time doing the scouts in Sims. So far some of the badges have been really easy for Steve to collect while others are taking forever! One of the things that Steve has done to help collect the badges was created a scouting club! Scouts one requirement is that you are in the scouts, I don't think I have an age limit turned on for it. Anyways, they all work on scouting activities.
There are 9 badges altogether that Steve has been working on collecting. The badges are Arts and Crafts, Civic Responsibility, Give Back, Good Deeds, Keep Fit, Outdoor Adventurer, Scholarly Aptitude, Sociability, and Young Scientist. Since these are Steve's goals the scouts also have the same goals. The club would be friendly to everyone, do their homework together, use the creativity tables to draw and make crafts, and go fishing. I would sometimes swap the club's activities up to help with other badges.
For the Arts and Crafts scouting badge the scouts had to make crafts, drawings, and paintings. In the new Disney house, there are craft tables all over the place, and Steve also had one in his own room. He is a creative sim so this badge is easy for him to do. I always found him drawing on his own anyway.
For the Civic Responsibility badge, Steve and the other scouts needed to clean or do repairs. This is one that makes me think that these are the same badges that the teens have to do because the kids in Sims 4 cannot repair anything. But thank goodness we have a big family there are always messes to clean up around the house.
The Give Back scouting badge had the scouts perform friendly social interactions or give things to charity. This is another one that I really didn't have to help Steve do, he is overall a friendly person and likes to help people. Almost all of his collectibles he gave to charity too. He kept a couple of rare ones but for the most part, gave them all away.
The hardest badge for us to do was the Good Deeds badge! On paper, this one should've been easy for Steve to do. For this badge, we had to entertain a toddler, make someone laugh, take out the trash, or help with homework. Much like the Civic Responsibility, I thought this one would be more for the teens but I swear this badge was the hardest! I felt like Steve couldn't play with Wendy or make people laugh enough to get this badge! Whenever Steve played with Wendy I don't think it counted towards the badge, or maybe he just needed to play longer. I don't know. This is the last badge for Steve to get and it definitely made Steve work for it.
Another easy badge for Steve was the Keep Fit badge. With the Keep Fit badge, scouts have to dance or exercise. The whole Disney clan love dancing and they are always doing it. Even in the old house, they were dancing away all the time. Since moving into this new house whenever the teen club gets together they all dance the night away, and the whole Disney family gets on in it!

With the Outdoor Adventurer, badge scouts are required to catch fish, find frogs, or grill outside. In past posts, we saw Steve wandering around or playing in the woods while working on this badge. One of my all-time favorite pictures is Steve fishing right across from his new house. I just love how it looks and he is such a cutie patootie! This was another pretty easy badge to get but it did take some time to do it because he really needed to work on it to get them. But he used these collectibles to give away for charity.
The Scholarly Aptitude badge makes the scouts perform studious activities such as doing homework and reading books. I've never had issues with the Disney kids doing their homework, with a couple of kids I'm trying to lower their responsibility and I actually have trouble making them not do their homework.
For the Sociability badge, Steve needed to perform the friendly social actions, and like I've mentioned before he is such a good sim that friendly interactions are pretty much all he does. Steve and Adam are the closest in the siblings which makes sense since they are twins.
Then finally the last badge is the Young Scientist badge. For this badge, the scouts are required to do computer programming, use the microscope, or use the telescope. I thought he could use the scientist table that the kids have, you know the one that always catches on fire. I'm not sure if it counted. I ended up getting rid of it because it kept catching on fire when other kids from the scouts used it.
As you can tell the badges are just like additional aspirations that Steve had to do. Since we completed all of them, with a lot of aggregation. I've decided that he now has to complete all of the children's aspirations too. I know that Captain America was a scrawny kid before he was turned into Captain America but he was also a loyal, smart kid. So I thought it would add to our Steve's character. I need to find him a crush and a best friend that isn't family. I think we will focus on that soon. I'm trying to ensure that we don't get bogged down in one character again like we did with Maleficent. I just can't help it when I get into the zone I can't walk away so that's why we have a whole lot of Maleficent and Aubrey at the moment.
