Gen 2: Maleficent's Big Move

Now that the twins have aged up into children and Aubrey is now a teen guess who's ready to age up! That's right Maleficent's turn!

Maleficent isn't one for big parties so the Disney household went about things as normal. The children all got up and went to school. When everyone came home from school everyone sort of went and did their own things while Dina made a birthday cake.

Steve went to play outside. Dina had to finish her drawing for work before she could make the cake. Adam and Aubrey look like their biological siblings because of their red hair, and even though they were raised as siblings Aubrey is technically his aunt, and the game even says that but we just ignore that fact a lot.

Now that the work is finished it is time for Dina to make a cake for Maleficent. Maleficent is our first baby to have a birthday in the new house! Even though it is a low key birthday we do have a full house so we have ton of people to celebrate with our girl! I thought that since Maleficent is our wild child who is going down the evil path I thought it was fitting for her to have a zombie cake. I just thought it fit her aesthetic. Plus have you noticed that baby bump on Dina!? Since Dina is pregnant it has pushed us to have Maleficent's birthday because I want her in her new room so that her current room can be the baby's room.

Aubrey is in the room she's just not in the picture frame. Look at all that sass that Mr. Adam is showing a whole of Sass!

Teen Maleficent!

As soon as she aged up Maleficent knew what she needed to do. She needed to travel back to that strange world where she visited as a child. When she was there before Morgyn told her she should come back as a teen because when she's a teen she could join their world. Since that day all she thought about was becoming a Sim like the ones, she met there. So Maleficent waited until after everyone fell asleep and then she snuck out. She traveled to Glimmerbrook to find the mysterious door. Along the way she collected a few things that she saw. 

As soon as she entered into the Magic Realm she went looking for Morgyn and L. Faba. These are the friends she made not too long before her birthday, the first time she went to this new strange world. They showed all the things that they do and what a Spellcaster really was. Maleficent wanted nothing more than to join this new world, but she couldn't until she turned into a teen! So now she plans to see if one of them can tell her what she needs to do in order to become a spellcaster!

First Maleficent finds Morgyn and while they were talking L came over to talk to her. She kept bringing up the fact that she's interested in their world and wanted to become apart of it. However, Morgyn wasn't sure if Maleficent would be able to handle the power of being a spellcaster and L was unsure of her too. L decided to take a chance on Maleficent though. She told her if she could collect magical motes. But she will only have 8 hours to collect seven of these small orbs. If she can't collect enough motes then L cannot change her into a spellcaster, and she will never be able to try again. It is a once in a lifetime offer for Maleficent and she has no choice but to collect all 7 motes!

Maleficent ran all around the magical world looking for these tiny motes and finally, she collected 7 of them. She had to travel back to the academy and find L again. Eventually Maleficent found L, she was talking to Morgyn and Emilia. Maleficent told them that she was able to find all of the motes, but before any of them did anything L asked Maleficent if she is sure she wants to become a Spellcaster. Once you become a spellcaster you can't go back to being a regular sim, and there were a lot of sims that treated spellcasters differently. Magic scares people and when people are scared they react differently than they normally would have. L explained that she may lose friends and family, she could be judged for her magic, and it can be dangerous. This isn't just something that you wake up and decide to do, it's a lifetime commitment. Maleficent looked at them all and said that she knew this was a lifetime commitment and this is what she wants more than anything else. She knows that with magic she can do good with it and wants to contribute to the world. This is how she can do it and she wants to show people that magic isn't something to fear. She knows she will never regret being a spellcaster and she wants to become the best spellcaster in the world!

Giving L the Motes Maleficent Collected

Just like that Maleficent became a Spellcaster! Since L turned her into a spellcaster she is now Maleficent's mentor and will help her along her way learning about her new powers and how to control them. Since it was already late L needed to get home to her family, she has a child in my game and a husband. So Maleficent decided to get to know the other spellcasters that were around the academy. Her and Morgyn spent the night getting to know each other, meeting other spellcasters, and collecting some essential spellcasting necessities. Finally, it was time for Maleficent to head back home.

It was already really late when Maleficent returned home however she wanted to move into the basement. Now that Maleficent is a spellcaster she isn't sure how to tell her parents and didn't want them to accidentally walk into her room while she was practicing. Plus if she moved rooms she could have a bigger room and fit all of her new spellcasting materials in her bedroom, which she couldn't in her current bedroom. She decorated her room to fit her likes and needs, and it came out really perfect for her. Here is what her new bedroom looks like.

Overall the room is still pretty bare, she mostly moved all of the stuff in her old bedroom down here but added her new spellcasting stuff. I love to clutter the rooms with their stuff so we can see what Maleficent makes or collects to fill her room with. Since it is in the basement she added a fridge and a microwave so she doesn't have to walk all the way upstairs to get food and she can spend most of her time downstairs. Through the door on the green wall is Maleficent's bathroom and then the other door leads to the rest of the basement. Their basement is huge and it holds another bathroom, Dina's gym, and the laundry room.

I'm not sure what the future holds for Maleficent I have many ideas about how to turn towards her dark path and she is pulling away from her family so we will see what happens for her in the future.
