Some Time Alone!

This post is going to be mostly pictures and just a cute little update on our elderly couple. Now that Wendy is a teen we officially have no more kids in the Disney house and I'm not saying that we don't have to do anything with the kids anymore since they are teens I'm just saying they are more sufficient on their own and it gives Mickey and Dina even more free time so Mickey asked Dina out on a lunch date! They ended up going to a new restaurant in Brindleton Bay and just had a cute little lunch date with one another! This couple is amazing and is definitely one of my favorite couples in the game I've ever had! I think their relationship was just so easy and I really don't have to do much with them to maintain their relationship levels. So here is how their date went. They really just had lunch together and then went home. I think it was just a cute little way for them to catch up with one another and get out of the house. 

Tag Tuesday: Erinycatsims

One creator that I knew I needed to showcase in this series is Erinycatsims. I've talked about this amazing creator a lot already on this page but I felt like this series is about showcasing amazing CC creators, amazing builders and sim makers, and the software programs I like to use when it comes to playing my game. Pretty much anything I feel like deserves to be promoted and showcased is what I want to use this series with, especially people who aren't as well known and should be. Anyways Erin is the creator I saw on Instagram one day because she had built this amazingly intricate house and I knew that I couldn't build Beast's house and this person could definitely build an amazing castle. I reached out to her on Instagram and just hoped that she would respond and just my luck she did! She even thought that building a Beauty and the Beast castle would be awesome and she built the one that Adam lives in. Not only did she build it but she built it so fast! I thought it would take her so much longer to build this massive project and I even told her I didn't care when she got it finished. I was so impressed! The link above is going to take you to Erin's Instagram where there are a ton of builds of all different kinds. One of the newest ones I wish I could put in my game because it is AMAZING! It's the candy house one and it really looks like a Gingerbread House. 

Another reason I really wanted to talk about Erin in a post is that so far when I talk about this amazing creator it's just tidbits here and there and I felt like I needed to do a proper showcase now that we have this series going.  Anyways over on her Instagram page, you can even reach out to her and collaborate on a new project. I think it's awesome to be able to find these amazing creators because I can't build and they can. Plus I love being able to share amazing people and content. He Finally got the Girl!

Steve has had a mega crush on Brittany for forever! We got to watch them grow up together, them crush on one another, and then eventually even fell in love with one another. She's been with him from the very beginning and I think he really needed that in his life especially after his family drama.

This relationship I feel like had a lot of ups and downs. In the beginning, I felt like whenever anything went right for them something always happened that would interfere with their relationship causing them to put everything on hold. However, the two finally got to go out just one on one and things quickly heated up!

Brittany has been Steve's best friend since they were little kids we got to watch them grow up together so the fact that this happened really out of the blue really worked out perfectly for them. We got to see them flirt and even questioned whether or not Brittany was his Agent Carter. So the fact that my game just made this happen out so well. He literally just kissed her out of the blue while they were hanging out and it was so cute! Since they were having such a great night Steve decided to ask Brittany out on a real date to see if they have anything real or if it was just a heat of the moment. Steve really can't lose Brittany since she is all that he has that has kept his feet on the ground. 

Their date ended up being a really short date. They went to a karaoke bar but actually ended up staying outside the whole time just talking everything out and kissing. At the end of the date, Steve asked Brittany to be his girlfriend and she said it was about time he finally asked! They were so adorable and it worked out so cute! The next day after school Brittany came over and we ended up putting together a little photoshoot so we can take some pictures for Steve! Here are some of my favorites.

I know this was really short and pretty to the point here but I really wanted to get this one up and showcase what Steve's been up too! I know he has been working a lot, getting all of his character traits up, and just getting ready to age up. I think we are going to get one really big date in for these two lovebirds before Steve ages up. After the twins age up I might do a mini birthday age up spree because I want their friends to age up as well but I'm not for sure yet. There's still at least a few more posts between here and their birthday though.

No More Gen 2 Kids!

Today's the day we finally get the last generation baby aged up into a teen! Wendy was a surprise baby and I have been fighting with how to do this. I really couldn't decide if I should have Wendy run away to Neverland as a child or a teen but I've decided I want her to be a teen so that she can be jealous of Tiger Lily and Tink can get jealous of Wendy. So it's time to age our baby girl up! 

As per all of our Disney kids, we really had a laid back birthday. I didn't even really invite anyone and now looking back I should've had her friends there but it'll be okay. Wendy had a blast and wait until you see the pictures! 

We started the day off by getting some really cute pictures of our birthday girl! One of my favorite things about the Disney house is the flowers and in both the spring and summer they look AMAZING! I always love taking pictures in them and I couldn't resist doing pictures with Wendy there before we age her up. 

I love this outfit too! Wendy was a surprise baby and I had to figure out who she was and what she was going to do. With her being a surprised baby I got to have a little fun with her but it was also kind of stressful. I was able to pick from the list of back up characters that I would love to do and then figure out her storyline. With my characters, it isn't as easy as figuring out who is going to be a fun adventure and next big thing. I have to figure out how they work with the previous generation and then how it will continue after them. Will they have kids or not? If they have kids how many and how far can their line go on? I know I really put a lot of thought into it but I want to make the story as cohesive as possible. Plus I want a lot of variety since I'm working in the Disney brand I have Pixar, Star Wars, original Disney, new Disney, Disney shows, and so on. There's just a lot of surplus which is good but can also be challenging trying to figure out the puzzle pieces. Any part of the original story I can fit into the sims makes it so much fun and very true to who they are based off but at the same time, I want to give them a twist. Another thing I did with Wendy was I had two people blocked off if it was going to be a boy I was going to go with something Star Wars and then if we had a female then it was going to be Wendy! Wendy is a classic character and I feel like she would've been a Mickey Mouse baby! So I felt like it would be perfect. Plus I'm trying to branch all of the Disney kids off into their own Sim worlds so we aren't all in Willow Creek. So I'm really excited to go to 'Neverland!' 

Even though we didn't really have a big birthday party I did have a party and invited over some really important people, such as Nina who is Wendy's aunt and they are really close. I even gave Wendy a birthday dress! It was so pretty and I definitely kept the theme after she aged into a teen!

Wendy had a lot of fun talking to everyone and being the center of attention. Even though she is the baby of the family I feel like she gets left out a lot which is why she is so close to Peter's shadow. She has real-life friends too such as Antoine and Michelle. Michelle is Nina's youngest daughter and Antoine is J's son. All three of them are all about the same age and we actually aged Antoine and Michelle up in my latest birthday palooza, which you can see that here. I think Antoine is the closest real Sim Wendy is close too and they aren't related at all. I'm playing with her end story and one of the ideas involves him. 

Anyways the rest of the party is really laid back. Wendy is a classic Disney character and whenever I can I love adding classic details such as the simple birthday and the white cake and just really anything that really screams timeless to me. She had a vanilla/white cake and you can see Mickey in the background of her blowing out her candles. It was also really interesting in watching Dina make this cake. First, that awful glitch where they make tons of cakes has come back and it drove me nuts! But anyways I finally got it all figured out and while Dina was finally making the cake Steve just wasn't having it! Dina was just trying to talk to him and the poor boy just couldn't get away fast enough. 

As I've mentioned a couple times I like to give my Disney characters things that tie them to the characters they are portraying. I tried really hard with this one's outfits I have been getting more in love with CC and using more here and there, and I'm pretty sure most of her outfits have CC on them. I think out of all of the Disney kids I think  Wendy looks the most like Dina. She definitely has the same color hair and eyes but she is also really slender like Dina is. There isn't much that looks like Mickey on her. Actually, I don't think many of the Disney kids have any of his features. Mickey has a lot of boy like features and a big nose and ears. I feel like his kids should have inherited some of them but so far Maleficent has his dark hair and that's about it. I guess the boys have some of his boyish features. However, Steve has definitely inherited Mickey's family-oriented and goofy traits.
