Tag Tuesday: The Plum Tree App

I honestly love the Plum Tree app because of the fact that I can put all of my sims family tree online to a source that isn't tied to EA. I know this sounds like it would be an app on your phone but it is really a website that you can download pictures to and put info in for your sim families. It's easy for everyone else to pull up your family trees and look at all the sims in them. Sometimes I love just browsing through all the amazing families that people have created in the sims. I have no clue if there is a max amount of generations you can have in a family on there. I really love some of the fun statistics that they have on their homepage such as how many trees have been created and published so far on the site. 

Some of the fun things that I use this website for is keeping track of my sim family on a place where you all have access to see it. In my family tree, you can see the sim, their traits, their aspirations their working on or have completed, life stage, and even little bios on all of them. I love updating their bios throughout their lives so they get longer and longer as the sim ages. I try to update mine religiously so that you can see everything in real-time as possible. A lot of times if you are looking for some spoilers in my game that would be the place to find them. 

Even though I absolutely adore this website there is a thing about it that I wish we could do with it. I really wish we had the capability to share pictures of just the tree. Right now the only way I can get a picture of my tree is to take a screenshot, which is fine but I really want to have a cute family tree picture. I don't need their traits I just wish it would have their names below their pictures. So when I want to do something like that I have to actually make another family tree of just my sim family. That's literally a minor thing and its the only complaint I have about it. 

The website itself I think is pretty easy to use. Once you create your tree you can give it a picture and bio about it. Mine tells you what my goal is with this family and link to here. Then you can add people to it as much as you want too and right now on here you can see how many relationships you can have. Adam right now has 5 relationships showcased on there. I want to update them since they are now on the tree. I think I'm going to leave them on the tree because it showcases how crazy his life has gotten. I don't want them all to have successful families and relationships. So I feel like I'm leaving them all up on there. Then we have Morgyn on there to explain Judith, and he is Maleficent's boyfriend. Steve also has a girlfriend on there now too! 

Generation Goals Check In

I know I promised I would start back with the Toddlers Playdate and even gave you a preview of the tots all together! Aren't they adorable! Well, that one is coming on Wednesday I promise, I just felt like it has been a very long time since we made an official update about where we stand with all of the characters that I currently have in the game at the moment so I felt like it was time to not only showcase our crazy family tree but also show what we have accomplished and what we still need to do with all of our stories! I thought the best way to do this is to show you all a little snapshot of our current family and what it all looks like. You are going to notice that there have been some birthdays since we have left off so this is going to be a little spoilery but I just felt like this is something that should be posted first before we really get back into the story. So when our story pops back up the sims that have aged up will look like kids again and you'll see everything leading up to them aging up. I actually need to do another update to the family tree and add someone to it however I'm going to wait until we the post comes out to showcase our newest addition. I also added Karla to the tree because she is Adam's girlfriend and I feel like we should showcase just how much of a player he's been so there will be a couple more bubbles popping up on his side soon but for now we just have Miss Karla who I adore!

There are a couple spoilers here such as Adam's many relationships, Steve's girlfriend, and Wendy's a teen! But we will have more in-depth stories about them coming up in the following weeks! 

Mickey Disney's Generation Goals & Ideas

Mickey is currently an elder in my game now. Both he and Dina have pretty much been living out their lives gracefully together. They do still have two kids living at home plus Peter's Shadow. They are completely obsessed with being grandparents and love having sleepovers with all three toddlers! We really got to watch them through good and bad times and right now they are currently in a really good place. The couple has been able to get their family out of debt after Adam stole all of their money and got a little nest egg built back up, about 100,000. They have a lot of everything they ever need and make money through their freelance gigs and random ways such as painting and making flower arrangements. Dina has even taken up knitting! Mickey still has a hard time with Pluto's death and visits his grave weekly to tell him about everything that has happened that week. He really wishes that the babies would've gotten to meet Pluto. As for plans for Mickey himself he's already completed all of the goals I had either found or put together for him pretty early on in his life. When we just had him it was easy to focus on the goals I had for him. Since the kids have all started to become teens I kind of just let him and Dina do whatever they wanted, except when we needed money and then I would make sure they were working away but for the most part he's had a really good life.

Like I mentioned above I really don't have much left for these two other than them getting to spoil their grandbabies and watch their kids grow up! I don't have any plans for them to die any time soon but to be fair Mickey actually died in my game back right after Wendy was born of hysteria! But I wasn't ready for him to leave us so I brought him back and pretended it never happened! 

Maleficent Disney's Generation Goals & Ideas

Ever since Miss Maleficent entered the story I have been completely obsessed with her! I think she was our first little spunky kid and she added so much life to the family! Don't get me wrong I love Aubrey too but Aubrey is so much like my other sims that she's a sim that I'm just comfortable playing and always fun, however, Maleficent is a little wilder and always keeping me on my toes. She's my first teen pregnancy, she has accomplished not 1 but 2 aspirations already and she just became a young adult, and I get to walk down the mischief skills which I never really explored before now. But we still have a lot to do with Miss Maleficent and unfortunately, I don't think it's going to be all happily ever after for her. Normally in my games as soon as they find a love they are set for life and they have kids and eventually dies and I also lose interest in them, which is why I normally play with aging off. Anyways Maleficent isn't going that path and you'll see when we start talking about her goals.

Unlike Mickey, we haven't completed Maleficent. Mickey I think was the sim that had the shortest amount of goals because we started him out as a young adult. Anyways so far we have accomplished 4 of the 12 tasks that Maleficent has to do with her life. She currently as the Ambitious and Greedy traits, the greedy one is a custom content I believe she got through Slice of Life mod, she became a spellcaster while a teen has already completed both the Spellcaster and Sorcery and Purveyor of Potions aspirations. and she has also maxed her Spellcasting skills. Even though we have only done 4 things so far these were huge things that she has accomplished! We have almost completed the mischief skill as well! Literally only one more level between us and then Maleficent will have it. Now here's the tea Maleficent has a few goals that revolve around her family such as being fiercely protective, having a daughter with her true love, and losing the love of her life. Maleficent has a baby, Judith! Even though she loves her with all her heart and is fiercely protective over her I'm not counting this as her being fiercely protective over her family. My plans for that will come out soon, at least a big piece of it. And as for counting Judith as her kid with her true love I just don't know if Morgyn is Maleficent's, true love. Their relationship bars are horrendous. I think they are so in love with the idea of being in love and being there for Judith that they have lost sight of being in love with one another I think you'll really see this is a future post of their double date. I think they have lost their connection with one another. But at the same time he was her true love when they had Judith I just feel like they weren't in the best place before the baby and they were when they got pregnant and now they aren't but don't realize it because their worlds revolve around their baby. It might have to be something that I'll let you all vote on, are they in love or not and if so should they get married? 

Steve Disney's Generation Goals & Ideas

Steve has completed 4 out of 13 goals so far, and he's about to age up into a young adult! Steve has been an interesting person to play. We have gotten to experience scouts for the first time, kind of had the evil twin/good twin thing going on a little bit and a slow burn romance between him and Brittany! Even though we have so much going on he still has a lot ahead of him. As I mentioned he is about to age up so he is going to be joining his military career soon with his best friend and favorite girl! He has almost completed his Bodybuilder aspiration, and since Adam ran away Steve has been the glue for his family. He has helped keep the family house when they were about to lose it, allowed his baby sister to just be a kid and not have to worry about everything that was going on, and even worked two jobs while going to school and his grades have not dropped once! 

Steve has both the Good and Atheltic traits, and I consider him to be Brave and Loyal as well. I mean he is a teen who should be out with his girlfriend and friends and be worry-free, but he had to grow up earlier than I think any of his siblings had too for his family. Although we haven't completed the BodyBuilder aspiration yet we have officially maxed out the fitness skill. The only thing that is between us and completing the aspiration is the fact that he needs to get the perfect body task? Anyways we have also collected all of the scouting badges! He's done that a while ago, I think he did that as a child because I was so worried to age him up and the tasks would change but they've all stayed the same. Steve has also fallen in love! He and Brittany really had a slow burn relationship. I think they had crushes on one another as children but didn't know how to act on it. Then they pulled away from one another, he was interested in Karla and Brittany actually had another boyfriend! But now they have officially found their ways to one another and you'll get to see the path they took in a couple posts. I plan that to come out before their birthday and also have one more date night before their birthday. Some of his goals revolve around him completing over the span of his life such as never having kids, losing his love, and never dating anyone until he eventually finds her again when their elders. 

Adam Disney's Generation Goals & Ideas

Adam is one of those sims that has been a pretty slow burn in the beginning. I mean I struggled big-time trying to showcase his spoiled brat ways but to be fair he was an adorable toddler and didn't start being a hot mess until he wasn't the baby anymore. But once the story started going for him it went off running! I have been having so much fun being this wild child through him but at the same time, he's definitely been such a huge brat and womanizer really. You all will see how crazy he's gone in just a little bit. As for completing his generation goals, I feel like he's doing really good so far. He's pretty much already completed all of the goals he's needed to before being turned into a beast and I plan on turning him into a beast for his birthday! 

I really want to get you all involved in my story and I've actually had a few ideas, and a lot of those ideas involve Mr. Adam. I really want to make a poll or something for everyone to vote on who should be our Belle since I keep changing my mind. The only thing I know is I want it to be someone he has no relationship with before turning into a beast. So I moved in a bunch of teens not too long ago and we are going to use them. I'll post about it in a few posts so you can all have vote. I think the vote is going to be on a few different platforms, but I'll talk about that later. I already mention that I plan on getting him turned into a beast on his birthday and I kind of revealed in one of my posts last weekend that Maleficent's going to be the one to change him into a beast! I feel like it's justifiable because she is very protective over her family and the reason it's taken so long to retaliate is that she's been so conflicted because, on one hand, she sees how her family is struggling because of Adam's actions but on the other hand Adam is also her family too. So we will see how this goes down. It's still a few posts away because I have a lot planned out already and this is on the list but there's a few things that have to happen first such as Wendy's birthday!

Wendy Disney's Generation Goals & Ideas

Wendy was our baby for such a long time and I love her! She recently aged into a teen, which is why this is a little spoiler-y. Her birthday post was going to be our second postback but then I remembered that I promised to do this first so we pushed it back some. She and Steve are best friends and the only Disney kids still living at home. Besides Steve Wendy is really close to Peter's Shadow and Antoine Huntington. So far I really love how Wendy looks! I think she is going to be the sim that looks the most like Dina. Out of all of gen 2, she's also the one that we haven't accomplished anything yet except having a pirate ship jungle gym while she was growing up. So we have a lot to do with this beauty. 

As for Neverland I know I keep mentioning that she will be going there soon but I've been having a lot of issues with figuring out how she's going to do it. At first, I was confused about which age I wanted her to do it, but I ended up deciding on her leaving as a teen. I want her to be able to care about Peter and potentially fall in love with him. I want her to be able to be jealous of Peter and Tiger Lily's relationship, and I also want Tinker Bell to be jealous of Wendy. So she's going to go as a teen. Now as far as her story after getting to Neverland I'm not really sure what all I want to do with her. I have two stories kind of tied up in my head but I think I want to see her in Neverland to really decide on her what she needs to do. Option 1 that I'm playing with is her staying true to the story/movies, Wendy comes home after being gone so long falls in love, and lives happily ever after. Maybe even her daughter going to Neverland after her. I like to stay true as much as possible but at the same time, I like adding my own twist to it all. The second option that Wendy just stays in Neverland with Peter and lives happily ever after as the first lost girl. If she stays there I don't think she will age I think she's just going to stay a teen, I haven't figured out the logistics of it all if that's what we do. I might have you all vote on that too.

Judith Disney's Generation Goals & Ideas

Here is our newest character! Literally, we had her right before the hiatus but haven't really seen her much lately. The next post is going to be all about her and Aubrey's twins though! I'm so excited. I also have never shown her generation goals. I think they kind of show her life trajectory that I have planned so far. I think she is going to stay pretty true to her movie inspiration and I'm so proud. I really think she's going to be pretty interesting and I can't wait to see how it goes with her. But as for now, I don't have much planned for since she's a toddler. She's kind of in that gray space where they just go do their own thing while we work on another sim. My goal is to get to a place where we focus on a certain sim every post and know who we are focusing on such as Wendy's family one day, Maleficent's another, and so on. But if I do that I have to figure out how to do 4 posts a week plus alternate whichever post that isn't having a lot going on with Aubrey's family or so on. I just think it would make it so we aren't focused so heavily on one character. 

Tag Tuesdays: Planoly

So I found an amazing website/app that I don't know why no one told me about it before! For anyone who does this posting thing Instagram that struggles with keeping up with posts and doing it consistently on Instagram well I found a solution, at least one that really saved my sanity! Planoly!

Planoly is a website/app that posts your Instagram posts for you! And what a game-changer it is! Ok so just to tell you how obsessed I became with this there is a free option where you can get 30 posts a month for any social media account. Well, I did that and I used all 30 posts in 4 days! Then I was like well it's the end of the month I can wait a couple days and get a new month (30 posts) for free and just make sure I like this enough to buy a subscription.  Well ladies and gents I love it! So let's break down just what exactly is this thing. 

Planoly allows you to freely plan out your posts, and I'm going to keep saying Instagram because that is what I'm using it for. However, you can use it on Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, and even Facebook. But it is officially affiliated with Instagram and Pinterest. You are able to post your content to your social media through here as I've already mentioned by you are also able to plan ahead with their calendar and see what's coming out and when, sell stuff, and edit stuff. As you can tell the only things I've played with so far is the posting stuff. I love the calendar and how easy it is to see what is coming out and in what order. Those who have been with me since the beginning know that I struggle for real to make this all cohesive. At first, I was ahead on Instagram, then I got behind, then I got really behind, and now we are on a break! I really love that I can physically plan out my posts and see just how much I'm posting a day on my simstagram. Now I'm definitely not sponsored by this company at all I literally just found it on Twitter because one of the BookTubers I follow was asking what was the best company to post Instagram posts for her and I'm IS THAT A THING!?!? Well, it's a thing, and now I'm obsessed. 

I have only really used two features on this thing so far. The free version doesn't unlock everything. It actually lets you publish 30 things but it isn't automatic but to be honest I'm fine with that. It gives you alerts to know when to publish them and my only complaint with it is that my alert could be more alerty. I miss them sometimes unless I know its coming and I'm looking for it I could miss it. My phone doesn't vibrate for them or even ring! I don't know if it's different for the paid service or if it is just like this. I've gone through my phone's alerts and the settings on the app itself and everything is turned on and alerted as loud as possible. So it really only pops up on my lock screen/notification wall. But even this flaw is still minor for me because I'm always thinking of posting I just don't know if its too soon or feel like going through my whole process. My original process is mega long and I don't think I've ever fully gone over just how much work I put into this so let me just show ya! I first upload my pictures from my computer to my Google account into a work in progress folder then to my blog for whatever post they are meant to be in then to another google folder for just Instagram ready pics! These are pictures that have already been published and they are just waiting to see the light of social media!  When they get into this second folder I then go through them all individually and group the posts together, put their hashtags and posts into them so the only thing I have to do is download them to whatever device I'm on and then paste it all into the box when I'm ready to publish. Once I post them I either move them to yet another folder (my Disney family) or delete them. So this HUGE process can be intimidating and can take a lot of work, but I don't mind it, however, it slows down a lot of stuff. This is one of the things that really got my Instagram stuff so behind our story. All this is fine but sometimes I don't have the time to go dig these pictures out or I'm busy and I forget or whatever is going on. With this new program, I can let it post for me OR be like hey dude get your stuff and post! Literally, all I have to do once I have the posts made ON THE WEBSITE I just have to click on the notification or go onto the app and click on the post, and then the website/app automatically downloads and copies the posts and pulls up Instagram to the post section and I just select the pictures and there we go! I'm hooked on this thing!

I cannot wait to see what the paid subscription does, I know it unlocks a lot of things but I don't think I'll be able to post automatically because my Instagram isn't linked to my Facebook account. There are 3 different paid options PLUS the free one that you can choose from. The first one is only $7 a month if you pay for the whole year and then $9 if you do it monthly. With this plan, you unlock everything this service provides and you can post unlimited for one account and then 30 posts for a second account! For those of you that don't know I also have a book Instagram where we talk book stuff and its beautiful, both that Instagram and blog really match this Instagram and blog and that's on purpose I wanted to all match. I looked at the other plans and to be honest, the only thing that changes with the bigger plans is that one you can have 2 accounts that are unlimited posting and the other, and the most expensive, plan that they offer is completely custom. I'm not really sure what the custom profiles mean but it is unlimited posts. To be honest I only need 1 post that is completely unlimited. Yeah, it can be useful for my book account but I don't struggle with that one like I do this one. By book one I struggle to get a constant amount of content versus here I have tons of content and not a reliable way to use it. So I'm hoping this really helps me plan out things and keep everything more cohesive. I can see this doing amazing things for my blog and Instagram and I'm so excited. So I yeah I bought the year subscription for $85. I need it and I really want it so we can count it as a super early Christmas present! 

New Series! Tag Tuesdays: Custom Traits

You can all really tell I'm really, really trying to make posts about any and everything right now but my story and some of it is really cool and others are like really Shay you going to talk about CC AGAIN!? Well yeah, yeah I am but this time this CC is really cool! But I am also stalling I have one more stalling post I think after this and then hopefully its go time. Anyways I wanted to take a minute to really acknowledge a creator that I'm OBSESSED with. I mean I think I literally have everything they have created in my game and I absolutely love them! So as you all know I've become quite obsessed with Patreon lately, I just think the download process is amazing and I love getting CC from there. There are no ads, I generally know the money is going to the creator when I have the money to donate, and I have so far gotten some really amazing custom content from there so far. It is kind of hard to find sometimes because there isn't just a sims 4 tab to find all of this CC since its open to a vast variety of content. So I think its time for a new series in my game where I just showcase some of these amazing creators. I want to add that this is completely on me I am just like you who scroll forever looking for CC and I just really truly want to showcase some amazing creators over here. I've mentioned that I want to post more lately well I think on Tuesdays I'm going to do Tag Tuesdays but instead of doing a tag all the times sometimes these tags are going to be actual creators who make some amazing CC that I love using. 

I think this is the best person to start this new series with! So let me show you where I get my custom content traits in my game. Currently, Wendy has the Daydreamer trait that comes from this amazing creator, and Adam has the Spoiled one. I believe Steve is going to get one when we age up. I really wish we could have more than 3 traits but in my game, they also get a few traits because of Slice of Life. Anyways the amazing trait creator is Snowiii95! All of the traits and mods that are on this Patreon are completely free and she/he/they have a LOT! Plus there are tons that are coming up all the time. If you follow the page you'll get notifications whenever a new trait/mod is shared. There is a huge variety of traits that this creator makes and I think they truly add a lot of cool things to the game. I gave Wendy the daydreamer trait because I feel like amazing storyteller daydreams a lot to draw their inspiration from. Recently there have been more traits that revolve around disorders such as anorexia and bulimia or even Aspergers or chronic fatigue. There are some more common cc traits like drama queen and influencer. 

One of the things that I have found to be really key in making custom traits is that they actually add to the game. I've found some that sound so cool but then I get them in the game and it's just like a tag on the sims board but doesn't actually add much to the game. Snowiii95's traits tell you what could potentially happen because of the traits in the game and then those things happen in the game. Some traits might make your sim want to sleep or eat more often, prefer to be alone or be obsessed over something, and so on. These things sound so little, and they are, but in the sims, I feel like it adds a new layer of realism that is missing. Plus playing with the same traits all the time can get really boring. If you go over to her Patreon you'll see all of the traits/mods there are and then you can even see the pictures they have for each trait. Not only will there be a short description of the trait or what can happen with the trait but the picture shows the short bubble that will pop up in cas when you go to select it. I think this creator really tries to showcase the trait in all areas and they come out really developed and ready for you to just add and play with your sim with. I am obsessed with this creator but I feel like its justified obsession because the work is just so amazing and they never let me down. They truly make me wish that there were more traits that one sim could have. I also play with Slice of Life and MCCC and these traits don't interfere with them at all. I also have WW in my game at the moment because of the attraction system. 

But I really cannot due to this rave justice because this creator is definitely worth checking out if you are looking for something to spice your game back up and give it a new life. I feel like they are being super creative and being inclusive for everyone to find something in their content. I really encourage you to check this page out, here's the link again. Again this is my true opinion that doesn't even know I'm raving about their page so much. I wish I had some pictures to add to this post to help showcase how amazing they are but I don't want to take stuff off of their page without asking but I just wanted to showcase some amazing creators and how I help make my game better, and don't know who would've been better to start this series with! 

Posting Schedule/Update

 Hello Beautifuls! 

I wanted to take a minute and update everyone since it's been quite a while since I've posted anything. I actually have about 15 posts typed up and ready to go however I didn't quite realize just how behind Instagram has gotten! I have been spamming everyone all day, every day since I announced I was taking my hiatus from posting over here and I still have about 300 more pictures to post before I can officially start posting on here again. My goal is to post like crazy this week and hopefully get up and going officially this weekend. However, I will not be home this weekend so my dilemma is that my posts will have to go up on their own and hopefully will get posts on Instagram going too. I have a wedding to go too so I won't be in town. 

My goal is to do posts like how I was normally doing it every Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday. My original idea was to focus on one character each day and that day would just be them, such as Wendy on Sunday, Steve on Wednesday, and so on. But we currently have 4 children in the Disney fam with their own stories plus Mickey and Dina and also Aubrey. Before my hiatus, we were working on phasing out Aubrey already but I've decided that Aubrey should still be a part of the story, just in tidbits because where my main sims are so goal-oriented it helps me stay interested in my game to be able to have a sim where I can just play and not have to worry about what we need to accomplish each day. That being said Aubrey will only be a minor role and we will only see her and her family more in the background or checking in with her from time to time. To be honest I think you'll see her the most over on my Instagram unless the kids are having playdates. I could rotate the stories and make it more even with the main characters but I feel like, for the most part, I'm already doing that. We are getting ready to age up the twins and Wendy and Wendy's story is really going to start while she is a teen and the reason why I waited for her to be a teen to go to Neverland is that I wanted her to be able to get jealous and have that crush with Peter like the movies always showed. I always wanted Wendy to stay in Neverland and be with Peter and the Lost Boys but I also like staying true to their movie inspirations. 

I'm also trying to come up with ways to make everyone more involved in my story since I don't stream or post videos my blog and Instagram are really the only outlets that we have for the game. I mean technically I could stream I just don't know how well that would go. Since I've been wanting to get people more involved in my game I think I'm going to start doing polls and giveaways over on my Instagram. No matter what I do over there I will announce it over here first because I know things can be a bit slower over here. Two of the polls I already have in mind are Wendy's fate with Neverland and you all picking our 'Belle' character. The Belle one will be coming sooner probably in the next couple of posts. I'll tell you right now my first post back is going to be the toddler playdate since we talked about that right before I took my hiatus from the game. Then Wendy's birthday maybe, I have a few posts to decide on what's going on then I'm going to post the Belles which I didn't take a very traditional route I tried to make it very open and you'll see what I mean when you see what Adam's been up too. 

I also want to get to the point where I'm posting a schedule of what's coming every week, maybe just like announcing who will be focused on each post. To be honest I think that will solve the character dilemma that I'm having and it will also really help me see what's hogging all the spotlight versus what's really not being seen that much. I try to post everything at noon on each of my posting days and I'm also trying to get to the point where I'm posting maybe four times a week maybe. I don't know I just have a lot of content and stories that I want to make sure everything is being fully explored versus rushed over. 

One last thing before I disappear for the week. I've been working on my editing skills which I know I've mentioned before and you can really see it I feel like because my goal was getting my Instagram and blog and family tree all to feel like one unit, and I feel like it's getting there. I also want to create a highlight over on my Instagram of the family tree and then link the Plum Tree App to it to make it more accessible. This is why I really wish I could post from the computer to Instagram instead off of my phone.  My main two things I wanted to focus on fixing during this break besides catching Instagram up was my editing and how to keep my story content the same on all outlets. Right now I currently post on Instagram and here then I also have the Plum Tree app for the family tree. I've played with the idea of streaming but I don't know how well that would work out since I play very sporadically and usually whenever I can fit something in. But I guess if that is something that enough people would want to do I may be open to the idea to doing that. Since my family has become more elaborate now that we are three generations going and they are all pretty much doing their own things the story seems to get a little muddy from time to time I've just been really wanting to make it as cohesive as possible and I don't feel like I've completely reached that yet. A great example is my generation's goals. I really am working on trying to make them look better versus just being a graph with a pretty background like what I currently have on Instagram. I'm actually going to focus on that this week and might actually make that my first post back just to refresh everyone what we have planned for each sim and see what's going on in the world since it has been a while and I have gotten a lot of new custom content traits that I feel like have been adding a lot of really cool things to my game! I'm actually going to make a short post on Wednesday about the traits that I've downloaded and why I've been getting so many lately. This is why I love making these rambling posts because it really helps me figure out what I would love post and what direction I should really go in. 

Well, I hope to post this weekend and get back to normal next week and if not I will sincerely apologize and promise we will get back to normal real soon. I've just been posting pretty heavily and routinely since I made my blog back in January and felt like I needed to get everything running smoothly now versus when we have even more stories going. 

Some Favorite CC

I know I said I wasn't going to post anymore this week but I really wanted to get something out since it's been a little while since we had any new story content. It's also been a while since I posted any CC appreciation post so I felt like its time! I have downloaded a lot of new CC since the last post, which I feel like it was back during the wedding that we had a post like this. I'm going to try to get a little bit of something for all of the sims life stages, but again all of this and more is tied to my Pinterest board.

I like making posts like this because I CC have become a huge part of my sims and most of the time when I see sims with CC they are all very glamorous and look real but I don't want mine to look real. I wanted mine to look like Sims and because of that my CC is always maxis match so that it keeps looking like a game. I also change out my CC a lot or download stuff to be specific for a character. 

Toddler CC

The hair above is created by the Simple Simmer and I LOVE their content! The link on the picture will take you to all of these toddler's hairs and I literally use them ALL THE TIME! Toddlers are almost as hard as men stuff to find which is why I reuse it all the time. I just think these are just so well made and I really love the way it looks on my sims. I think the content here looks really good and I just love downloading it all and using it. They have a Mulan collection that I really want to get but I'm trying to hold off until we get to Mulan's generation because I feel like to do it justice it should be used on her.

I love how these two outfits look but to be completely honest I've been downloading pretty much everything I've found that's remotely cute for toddlers because we have the three toddlers and I just think they will look so freaking cute! I can't wait to show you their play date! The outfits above were created by GeorgiaGLM, and she makes some really cute stuff! There's a lot of really cute stuff over there. 

Children CC

One creator that I get a lot of stuff from is Saurus, I think I have everything that they have in my game. It's really good content and works well with the stuff we get through the game already. I really love this hair. We've seen it a lot in my game on my older sims because a lot of Saurus's hairs come in all ages for the sims. Also this is Wendy's main hair in my game too. 

I love when creators took the survey items and created them into actual items to put into the game! This one was created by Ferdiana Sims. It looks so cute in the game. 

This one is just like the one above. It was one of the options that didn't get picked that creators made into cc. This one is something that Wendy wears, but we don't see it very often. This one was created by the Pixelunivairse.

Teen-Elder CC

This hair is one you haven't really seen in my game yet. I have plans for it and I couldn't pass it up not downloading it. There are a couple sims who have this hair as their sleepwear. But I plan on using it for Adam's hair after he switches into or back from being a beast. I don't know yet. That transformation is going to be happening soon which is why I've been downloading a lot of monster CC, I just don't want to turn him into a beast and not be able to turn him back to how he looks now which is why I'm so happy that he's a twin so I can just see the details that Steve has and be able to replicate it for Adam. Anyways this hair is created by ClumsyAlien who I found while searching for creators on Patreon. 

This is another male hair that I use way too much! I think Adam, Morgyn, Mickey, and even Orange have all had or have this hair in my game. It's also one that I got a while ago so it's been on my board for a little while. I really love how it looks in my game. It was created by Simstrouble who is a creator on Patreon that I'm obsessed with. But pretty much everyone except female sims teens-adults have no cc because its so hard to find maxis match stuff that I like. I don't think I'm picky, and I've even just downloaded everything that I've found but it's just hard to find anything. 

I mean just look at how gorgeous this hair is! This is created by the Quirky Introvert CC! It's another creator that I found when I was deep-diving through Patreon for maxis match CC. Since finding this hair I got almost everything that they have on their Patreon page. Maleficent wears this hair with her formal dress, we actually did family photos with her in this hair. We are going to be doing a new family portrait soon since the twins were born.

This gown is amazing! It's created by SLYD over on The Sim Resource. I love how it looks on Maleficent and it came out really good. I really want to look up more of their work. I was worried about how it would look in my game but it looks amazing. This is the dress that Maleficent's wearing in the family portrait. 

This one isn't really maxis match but I downloaded it as soon as I saw it because it looked so pretty. It works really good in my game and I added this to the list because I recently posted a picture of our grown-up date night the other day on Instagram and people were asking where I got this from so I went ahead and tagged it here. I got it off of The Sims Resource and the creator is ChloeMMM! The creator actually has a lot of really cool stuff on their page and I really want to go through it all because I really need to find more toddlers, kids, and male stuff. The girl stuff just always pops up so easily. 

This one like the one above doesn't exactly qualify as mm but I really like it and I think it works well in my game. We haven't seen it much in my game. I think the only time we really saw it was when Adam wore it at the party, and possibly the family photo. This is on the Sims Resource and it was created by OranosTR. I have a few of their CC in my game but I just love how it looks. 

Does this suit not scream player?! I thought it would be perfect for Adam to wear now that he is on his own living up his bachelor life. It's created by grimcookies over on Patreon. It's another creator that I found during my deep dive looking into more creators to follow. Since I found their page I have a lot of their content in my game and it looks really nice. I just wish I could find a creator that creates a lot of male CC because I think it would be really good for my game. 

We see this one all the time in my game now because Steve's workout outfit uses the flag tank top. Whenever I go CC hunting I always look for clothes that will fit a specific character that we have. I have a private board that has a bunch of CC that I either want to download in the future or need it but can't justify getting it yet. I roll through CC a lot too so the CC on my public board is all stuff that I've used or have in my game currently. This one is created by Metens. To me, it just screams Captain America so I couldn't pass it up.

About Me

I really wanted to post something today but I'm not ready to start the story up again yet. I'm doing set up right now though and I plan to start back up next weekend with the story. So this is going to be the only post this week. I realized that I never really do an intro post here, and if I did it was forever ago so I felt like doing a tag and let you know me some. 3. Playstyle: I love doing my Disney story right now we just got our first third generation baby so I guess it would be gameplay because I'm not in love with my story content yet there's a few things I plan on tweaking soon.

4. Simself Picture: I have never recreated myself in the game. I suck at making cas and to be honest I really love getting stuff off the gallery and showcasing work that others make. My Disney family and townies are the only ones I really manipulate or made on my own. But now that I have CC in the game I've been adding it to everyone. 

5. Stories, Gameplay, Builds, Lookbooks, Edits, or CC: I love looking at everything. I have a Pinterest board where I show everything CC I find, and I try to keep it clean and organized along with everything in it working. Then the rest I see and follow amazing content on Instagram. But for myself I really focus on gameplay/stories. 

6. Favorite Age in Sims: Definitely Young Adult! I feel like its the stage I play the longest because there's just so much that I can do with my sim at that age and I thnk its the best age for them because as soon as they age up into adult they look so weird, at least in my game. 

7. Favorite Sim Season: I don't really have a favorite season. I definitely start all my games out in spring because I just feel like thats the best season to start. But each season gives different gameplay and if I had to pick one season I think I would go with summer just because there isn't a lot of rain, a lot of plants grow, and sims aren't complaining about the cold weather and I don't have to worry baout them accidentally dying on me. 

8. Favorite Holiday: I don't really have a favorite holiday in my game either. I've showcased Winterfest the most on my blog so far but I really love adding different ones to the game to give new life to my game. I might do a post later about different holidays I like to add.

9. Favorite Career: I definitely use freelance careers a lot! I love the freedom that comes with those careers because we can work and do whatever we want whenever we want and not worry about sending them off to work. I also really love the Actin Career. But when I start getting bigger families is when I start branching into careers where they just go to work everyday for so long. 

10. Favorite Aspirations: Definitely the family ones or the romane ones. I use those all the time. Literally when I play just for fun I end up making the same exact sim over and over. Which is why I needed and wanted to come up with a legacy outline like the Disney one so that we can branch out from doing the same thing over and over. 

11. Favorite EP, SP, or GP: I think I should say something like seasons since it added a lot to the game but to be honest I use a lot of Magic Realm for building, I love what City Living added to the game, and then the Movie Hangout pack is amazing! I love the colors that it added to the game and the stuff that came with it. 

  

12. How Old is my Simstagram: I just started my instagram back in February I think. 

13. Favorite Skill: I think my favorite one to build up is painting because of the money that they can get plus I love that it gives really cute decoration to the game. 

14. 3 Favorite Mods: I love MCCC! I use it everytime I play and really have no clue how I would play without it now. Slice of Life has added so much to my game and it's something that I really appreciate. My last mod I don't know if I would call it a favorite because I really don't use it to its full potential, but I think its the only other mod that I have in my game at the moment, and its wicked whims. I downloaded wicked whims because it comes with an attraction system that we used to have in previous sims games but haven't really seen it in the sims 4 without using mods. Now that is a mod that I wouldn't recommend for everyone because it can be graphic and make the game a lot different nsfw but I really only use it for the attraction system to help let my sims pick who they are attracted too.

16. Favorite Sim: My favorite sim in my game right now is definitely Maleficent. I love her and she's freaking beautiful! Now for favorite townie I actually have to say Dina Caliente! I've never played with the Calientes before but she became out matriach of our family and she's been such a fun and amazing sim! 

17. Which Sims Games Have I Played: I believe my very first sim game is Sims 2 where I played as the Capulets and Montagues all the time! I sometimes branched out to play as the Pleasant family a lot too. After that I played Sims 2 Castaway a lot, the gameboy sims 2, Urbzs, and then my obsession got really big with Sims 3. That's when I learned all about the expansions that you could get with the game. I've tried playing the mobile games too but I couldn't get into it when you had to wait so long to do stuff, and the money took forever to get. 

18. Propose a Crazy Scheme: I mean we are trying to do a 25+ generation legacy game and I've never played past gens 2 and 3 before so I feel like it is a mega crazy scheme! 

19. What Other Games do I Play: I go through obsessions for sure. I love Assassins Creed, Animal Crossing, Fall Guys, and my current obsession is Two Point Hospital. ut by obsessions I mean I'll play a game nonstop for weeks until I get burnt out and then read or do puzzles or something then bounce back to the game or another game. 

  

20. Pets: I have a ton of pets! I grew up with tons of animals, everything from horses to chinchillas, but today I only have dogs and a cat. I have 4 dogs, 3 english bulldogs and a newfoundland.
