Gen 2: Maleficent Gets Caught!

Maleficent has been practicing her magic 24/7, but when she is at home she is limited to practicing in her room since no one knows that she's become a spellcaster! In the simworld people can be scared by spellcasters or expect them to grant them wishes so spellcasters have been forced into secrecy, and that is why the Magic Realm was created so that the spellcasters could freely use their magic without worry.

Dina and Mickey have started worrying about why Maleficent has been holed up in her room so much and why she was pulling away from them so they have started investigating what has been going on in their daughter's life. First, they ran into Maleficent with Morgyn at the Romance festival! They had no clue that she was dating! They have met Morgyn in the past since he has been at the house but they never met him as their daughter's boyfriend before. They have had such a great relationship with Orange and wanted to know why Maleficent has kept this a secret!

But to be honest Maleficent and Morgyn's relationship is nothing like Aubrey and Orange. For one thing Orange and Aubrey have had a very stable relationship but Morgyn and Maleficent has had a very rocky relationship. First Morgyn has been playing the hot and cold game with Maleficent forever. While Morgyn was playing this game with Maleficent, Maleficent was over there playing the field figuring out who she was really interested in. Ultimately she and Morgyn found their way back to each other so I understand why she didn't want to bring him around her family until they figured it out themselves. But I also don't think he and the Disneys will have the same type of relationship as they have with Orange. 

Since they are now forcing Maleficent to spend all her free time with them they have started having more bickering happening. Maleficent doesn't understand why this change all of a sudden. She assumes its because Aubrey is getting ready to move out that maybe they are projecting this mew empty hole onto her, but they have three other kids so why not one of them?

Now that Dina and Mickey have become worried about Maleficent they have been making her hang out with them more. They are just curious and worried as to why all of the sudden their lovable daughter has become so distant. Even though helicopter parent isn't their parenting style they have decided that it is the best option for them to do in order to see why she has become this way. Whenever Maleficent has any free time they now expect her to spend it in areas of the house where they can see her. The only time she gets to space is when she's in bed, walking Pluto, or in the bathroom. Pluto finally aged up into a senior dog now and he doesn't move around as much as he used too but he always makes time for his walks with Maleficent. The same day we aged him he actually got sick! Pluto has never been sick since we had him because I had wellness treats in Mickey's inventory but we never used them. The second I get rid of them he gets sick. So Maleficent volunteered to take him to the vet so she could get out of the house by herself for a little bit and they let her go. The trip actually made the two best friends, and Pluto came home all better.

A few days later Maleficent thought she had the house to herself since everyone was outside enjoying the hot weather, and she was really hungry. But she also had a lot of homework to do. So instead of taking the time to cook the food, Maleficent decided to test some of her spellcasting since she hasn't had the most opportunity to use it lately. She thought if she did Grad Deliciso she could pretend she cooked food for her whole family! As she was casting the spell she didn't see that Dina had come inside and was behind her in the kitchen! She saw Maleficent cast a spell and food actually appear! Dina couldn't understand what was happening because how could a sim just wave their hands and food appear! 

Mickey and Steve were in the room too but they weren't paying any attention, they were busy talking to Adam and watching Pluto. But Dina saw everything and she even screamed! This is what grabbed Mickey's attention and he demanded to know what was going on. When Maleficent turned around she saw that Dina had to have seen her cast her spell. She's was instantly nervous about what was going on and didn't know how she would respond to her spellcasting. Maleficent sat her parents down in the living room and revealed that she is a spellcaster, and has been since her birthday. When she aged up into a teen she went to the woods in Glimmerbrook and traveled through a portal, and then asked L. Faba and Morgyn to turn her into a spellcaster. During the whole time, they sat there quietly listening to their daughter explain her story about how she became a spellcaster since they know she wasn't born this way. She explained that ever since she was a child and stumbled upon this magical world she had been obsessed with learning all about spellcasting and how she could be apart of this world. Maleficent looked at her parents and told them that she never truly felt like she belonged until she became a spellcaster and joined this new world. 

Once she was done telling her story she asked if they had any questions and they said that they wanted to know why she stayed in her room all the time and if she could show them this magical world. Although Mickey and Dina were scared of spellcasting they wanted to learn all about it for their daughter. This is all new to them and wanted to know if they needed to worry about their daughter or if she would be safe in this new world of hers. So first Maleficent took them down to her room and showed them that she had transformed her bedroom into a spellcasting room and this is where she practiced her spells and potions. It's where she kept all her brooms, wands, and potion ingredients. She told them she took up gardening and fishing not just because she wanted to spend time with them but also because those are the ingredients she needed to make her potions. She told them that these potions and spells weren't all evil and could be used for good even. She said that there are spells she could use to help repair, cook, and clean, which is how she normally does these things. There are spells that help her with everyday life but there are also spells and potions that can be used for evil. 

At the end of the tour, Maleficent asked if they truly wanted to go to the Magic Realm. If they wanted to go she could take them or they could travel to the magical world through the same portal she took as a kid. She said that they didn't need to turn into a spellcaster to visit this world, but this is a place that the spellcasters go to just be themselves. They both said that they wanted to go and experience what made their daughter fall in love with a terrifying world so much. But they didn't want the other kids to go since they still thought it was too dangerous for children, even though Maleficent has explained that this is just another world and no extra dangers. She decided to take them through the portal. She wanted them to experience everything that she did for her first time. 

First, they walked through Glimmerbrook, the forest, and up to the portal. 

Then they went through the portal and into the Magic Realm.

At first, Dina and Mickey were mesmerized by how colorful this world is! Everywhere they looked there was something new to look at. The bright colors that they saw in the forest definitely transferred over to this new world, but it looked like it was in outer space looking down on the little town that they came from. The world itself was broken into different meteors and they had portals to go to each one. Maleficent wanted them to experience everything! So first they say down on the top floor by Morgyn's garden so they could take in this bizarre world. 

Maleficent answered all questions that Dina and Mickey had come up with since entering into this world, and once they had adjusted Maleficent took them to explore! Maleficent thought the next most normal thing that they could be to go fishing. The family really fell in love with it while they were on vacation in El Salvadorada and thought it could be something that they all three would enjoy doing so Maleficent took them out back to the first place that she went fishing here in this new realm. 

After they had fish for awhile they all went back into the school where they could get some food. Maleficent decided that since they knew she was a spellcaster now it was time to show off what she could really do so she used Grad Deliciso to summon up a meal for everyone. Tomax even showed up to eat with them. Other than Morgyn, Tomax is the last sage still alive that had helped Maleifcent learn about this new world and how to control her new powers. Tomax is one of the most important people for her parents to meet because he can explain how safe spellcasting can be and really explain this world to Dina and Mickey in a way that even Maleficent can't.

Since she had started showing Mickey and Dina everything that she could do now she thought the next thing she should do is show them a magical duel. She knows they can be dangerous but she wanted to show them how a safe duel looks like and how powerful she has already become. took the time to explain spellcasting to Dina!

Once the duel was over Mickey and Dina were a little shaken up so Maleficent decided that the market was the next best place to take them. It's so pretty there and somewhat normal so they could easily adjust to this new world. Maleficent was so excited to show them everything and when they got there they got to sit down in a little garden beside the fountain and relax for a little while. Morgyn had shown up to shop in the market and that is when Dina recognized him! It turned out that he is a spellcaster too and they were so shocked! Morgyn explained that he has been a spellcaster for as long as he can remember and he is actually a sage. Maleficent stepped in to explain that he is sort of like a teacher and has helped her maneuver this world. Although Morgyn isn't the one that changed Maleficent he has played a huge role in her spellcasting story.

Since they were able to calm down a little Dina asked Maleficent and Morgyn if they could show them a duel. Now that they know what to expect they wanted to see another duel and Maleficent was so excited to show them! So of course Morgyn agreed to duel with Maleficent! This match was a little more heavily matched since they are old battling partners and know each other's strategies very well. 

However, Maleficent ultimately won! Even now it isn't always a guarantee for Maleficent when she is battling Morgyn. The two are very heavily matched now and it is always a surprise when these two duels as to who will win. 

Overall I think this family will definitely pull through this. Mickey and Dina ultimately want their daughter to be happy and she has obviously had put so much work into this life and they are definitely proud of their daughter. Maleficent has definitely come a long way and is a very capable spellcaster. I can't wait to see how her life turns out. As you can see she and Morgyn still talk. They are still technically together and  I think they are working through their rough patch. I think now that her parents know her secret and have officially met the real Morgyn I think they will be able to work out their differences now. I think the ball is definitely in Morgyn's court though.
