Relationship Showcase: The Sister Bond

I wanted to start a new type of post where we showcase relationships in the Sims game whether it be romantic, best friends, or even the downfall of a friendship. I just thought it would something light and easy to do that can come out in between scheduled posts. This fist one took place of a regular post but in the future, I think they will be a filler in the week, an extra post instead of replacing a regularly scheduled post. So I decided to start with Aubrey and Maleficent because I love their friendship and it is going to play a huge factor in Maleficent's life coming up. Even though Aubrey and Maleficent aren't biologically sisters they were raised as sisters. Watching these two grow up we got to see these two grow closer and closer. Right when Maleficent was born Aubrey was fascinated by her. She watched over her as a baby, as a toddler they would play together, and then as children, they became even closer. Today they are Partners in Crime! They go to school together, they play together, and when Aubrey created the Kidz Klub Maleficent was one of the first members. Here are some pictures that showcase their relationship that may or may not have been shown throughout past blog posts or even on Instagram, and even a few that are brand new and will be appearing in soon to be published stories!

Gen 1 & 2: Celebrating Summer with the Kidz Klub

It is now summer in my sims world, and I feel like it should still be spring. We really had no time in Spring, even though we had Easter, we just barely talked about it since it fell at the same time as Aubrey staying the week with J. I just think we have so much really going on in the game right now that we have tons of pictures to see and story to tell. So let's jump into it.

The day after the family went to the park together it was the first day of Summer, which in my game I made it a holiday so my sims can enjoy a day off and hang out outside in the water. We started out the day really relaxed with just the family. While Steve was still asleep Adam and Mickey went out to the kiddie pool to play in the water.

While the boys were playing in the pool waiting for the other kids to get up Dina was working on some flower arrangements. She's starting to get really good at them and make some money off of them.

Finally, Maleficent was up and she came outside to see her parents. She asked if it would be okay if she invited over some friends, and as soon as Dina said that it was okay kids started showing up.

Soon everyone, adults included, was playing on the slip n slide! There were just so many fun pictures that came from this one.

I think Dina wins at sliding

Umm Maleficent I don't think that is how you do it

Way to go Aubrey!

But before Mickey could join in on the slip n slide he's busy with Steve. Steve wanted to play in the kiddie pool!

The kids were getting tired waiting on Mickey to play on the slip n slide so they all started a water balloon fight!

Our beautiful little Disney family ended their perfect holiday working on Maleficent's school project. It was so cute because after all of the kids went home everyone in the household was helping Maleficent complete her project before school the next day.

Posting Schedule

Checking-In

I wanted to take a moment to give everyone a heads up that I'm working on a more concrete posting schedule, and right now where I'm homebound I think it will work out best to get this ball rolling. I know ever since I got this blog up and running there really hasn't been a lot of continuity it was either posting a whole lot all at once or sporadically over time, and that was because of life. I really want it to be more structured and predictable. But I'm definitely a mood player, and just like everyone else, there are times that I can get into Sims and play nonstop and then there are days that I just don't want to play at all. So there are moments where I need to just step back from the game and do something else like reading or working on a puzzle. Looking back it always seems that I have a cycle where I play Sims until I get burnt out on it then swap over to reading until I get burnt out on it and so on. But because I'm working on a legacy challenge I'm determined to play at least for an hour a week, if not more. Just playing an hour to work on story progression gets so much done and still get content out for you all.

Plus due to the Coronavirus that is going around my classes are currently shut down. We are switching to an online system for the rest of the semester which means I literally have nowhere to go until I get a new job so if I cannot stick to a publishing schedule something is just wrong with me. It's definitely been a learning curve for me that I've been figuring out as I go because I'm used to my book blog where I start a post one week and then a week or two later I update that post, and then another week or two then that post is finally done and then published. But on here I have tons of content and my issue really is a backlog and keeping Instagram from getting ahead of the story over here. So I'm going from this long-drawn-out process to having so much content that it is getting all tangled up! This is why sometimes stories come out faster on Instagram, but I think I've finally figured out a process that works best for me to where the stories will come here first and then over there, this caused a short hiatus from Instagram but we are back up and rolling.

I try to post at least one picture a day, but right now we have definitely been doing 3 or more pictures sporadically throughout the day. As of right now, that will definitely stay how it is and not have any set publishing dates. Sometimes I will post a story here then immediately post it over there to announce there's something new over here, but right now I suck at adding links to my posts on Instagram and it is driving me nuts! That is my next issue to figure out. I want it to look pretty and bring you right to the story and it looks like a bunch of messy letters.

For the most current up to date information on my Disney family, I think it would be Plumtree. I really do try to keep that as accurate as possible, and sometimes over there I'll have information out before it gets posted anywhere else. I just love how it's set up. The only downfall is you don't get a whole lot of information other than the picture of who it is along with their traits. I'm so curious about this app and really can't wait to follow the lines as far as we can go! I know right now I have updated all of their pictures except for Maleficent so you can already see what Aubrey looks like as a teen even though I haven't posted her birthday story yet, it just happened so it will be coming out next week or week after that.

About Me

It's come to my attention that I've not really done a formal introduction to myself on here or on Instagram so I'm going to give it a go. I try not to talk about my personal life too much because the whole purpose of this blog is my Sims family so I try to leave it there, but I'm going to give you all a little information about me.

I'm almost twenty-six years old and I've played Sims for as long as I can remember, but I think the earliest memory of the game is around fifth grade, and it is Sims 2 playing with the Capulets and Montagues! I loved these two families and I played it as much as possible, and really what pulled me into gaming. Up until this point I played console games like Mario Karts but really gaming wasn't all that important to me at that point in my life. I really became an avid player during Sims 3. I remember using all my birthday money, holiday money, and just begging for all of the expansion and stuff packs for the Sims 3. This is when I really started using custom content and just expanding my Sim knowledge. I just fell in love with the game.

Since Sims 4 came out I've typically always had a job so I spoiled myself by making sure I have every expansion/stuff pack that comes out because I've never had that. Sims 3 I came really close and on Sims 2 I didn't even know this stuff existed outside of what was on the one little disc that I had.  Plus I knew nothing about custom content or cheats! Out of all of this time of playing the Sims I've never had a huge legacy! I usually spend hours if not days building up a house to fit what I need for my Sim that I wanted to play out and then play for a few weeks/months then start all over. I always had more enjoyment in setting the game up than actually playing the game. Even when my Sims' lifespan is on the lowest tier I will only get to the third/fourth generation then start all over. As for the challenges I just learned about them not too long ago, about a year or two ago, and I've played with 100 children challenge, but again I got to about 15 kids and ended it. But I am determined you guys do this huge Disney legacy that I have mapped out! Is it too ambitious? Definitely! But we're doing it! I spent way too many days making my layout for this family we are not going anywhere until we hit at least generation 25! Hopefully past there because I have so many different side characters that I would love to play too, but I couldn't fit them into my story that I have laid out.

Outside of the Sims, I'm a college student, currently working on my Masters in Public Administration. It's been a lot of fun and I'm currently projected to graduate a semester early, but with school going to all virtual for the rest of the semester I'm not sure if it will affect my graduation date yet or not. I'm a doggy mom I have two crazy doggies that are my best friends most of the time. I'll insert a picture below! They definitely help add to the chaos of my life. Another huge thing that is currently going on in my life right now is that I'm supposed to be getting married this year. I've spent the last two years planning it down to the T but it all went up in smoke this past week so I really couldn't tell you when it is going to happen. I'm determined to still get married on my wedding date, just with a whole lot fewer people and probably in my dining room over a live stream. I've been working out this mess all week, another reason why I needed Sims in my life! Whenever everything seems to be just spinning out of control I need to be able to be in control of my Sims family to just calm me down some.

As you can tell above I don't have a job at the moment. I've been looking very hard but then the whole corona thing happened and now my state is under a government shutdown, West Virginia, so it is going to get a lot rougher before it gets any easier. But we will get through it!

Plans for Sims

So far my plans are to do this Disney challenge. But where this is ShayKay's Sims I could eventually branch out into more stories. I would love to do a 100 Baby Challenge after we get to at least generation 25, Disney is definitely my main concern right now. Another thing that I'm dying to do is Bitlife controls my game because I've been obsessed with it ever since the updates that they have done, plus Clare on YouTube has been playing it and it looks like so much fun. It could be something short and a break away from the Disney's if I need something to break it up. But again I don't have a whole lot of time where I can just sit down and play Sims anymore so when I do have the time I'm going to focus on the Disney family, and for now, I'm totally okay with it! I love this concept and this family I have going on so far. This is only generation 1 & 2, and gen 2 are still kids, so we have tons of time to branch out if we can or want too but for now I'm getting so much content from just Disney that I'm not worried yet.

My biggest issue that I've run into so far is feeling like I'm rushing things in the game yet at the same time feeling like I'm going too slow! When I'm in the game I feel like I'm so far behind because my sim kids are still kids and toddlers but their stories might be done at that stage or haven't even started yet, but something is holding the process up and I can't age one up yet because I need to do something with another Sim first. A great example is my toddlers, I know toddlers are one of the shortest life stages in the Sims but I have auto-aging off on my played Sims and then on my townies, they are all on the longest life settings. I also have notifications on so I know when a townie has baby, gets married, moves, or even dies. I like using the notifications to help gauge where the kids should be. Adam and Steve have literally maxed out everything and that is from my bare minimal help and if this was any other sim family I would've already aged them up into kids, but I haven't. I wanted them to wait become kids because in my head I wanted the birthdays to all to go in the same order: Aubrey, Maleficent, the twins, and then Mickey and Dina. The only one in this whole house that hasn't aged up at all is Pluto. Pluto came into the game already an adult dog, and I think after Maleficent ages up into a teen Pluto's going to age up as well.

Anyways I did age up Dina and Mickey, but then I also aged up the boys. My game was literally at a standstill because I was ready for everyone to age up except for Aubrey which meant I couldn't age up any of the other kids until she became a teenager. But then I came to the realization that the twins should age up into children before she's a teenager because toddlers are a short life span no matter what duration your life settings are, they will always be one of the shortest stages. So my boys are now children and I've been having so much fun with Steve's scout badges. It's a hot mess, and probably not as big of an issue as it is in my head. I just don't want the game to seem rush, yet when I look at the story and Instagram I feel like we are right on track. I just know what's going on the game a little bit more than everyone else since I'm playing in the 'future.'

This was taken awhile ago and the Newfie is almost double that size now lol. Anyways here are my babies, Ranger and Kylo! They are inseparable and we also have a puppy running around named Dexter. Plus Blue the cat, but he only likes me when we are in separate rooms!

Gen 1 & 2 - Family Park Day/Kidz Klub Meeting 2

The day after Dina and Mickey aged up into adults they took the whole family to the same park that they got married at. They showed the family where they got married, and since then the park added a toddler playground. It was such a cute family day. Since the whole family was enjoying the day at the park Dina asked Aubrey if she would like to invite some of her friends over and then the rest of Kidz Klub showed up! The club even added some more members to it.

Maleficent Playing on the Monkey Bars

While the club was hanging out other kids started showing up to play. Next thing I know the whole park is filled with kids and toddlers just hanging out and playing! There was even a third redhead child that looked like she could be sisters with Aubrey and Kassandra, and as far as I know, she isn't related to the girls. My game is so filled with drama it's crazy!

A Third Red Head

Steve Posing for the Camera

Towards the end of the day, I found one of the funniest pictures that I took during this outing. In the middle of the park is a water fountain and it is surrounded by chess boards. Dina, Aubrey, and Mickey are all sitting at different tables all playing chess! Why would they not sit together and play chess together!? At least two of them could do it!

Gen 1 & 2:Parent Date, a Double Birthday, and the Families' Outfits!

Dina and Mickey's Date

Having four children can be rough at times but Dina and Mickey always figure out a way to make it work and keep their strong relationship. Their family comes first no matter what and it is one of the things that Mickey and Dina admire so much with each other. But their relationship is just as important as their children. So I try to make sure they go out just by themselves sometimes. This time we went to a nice dinner one night just Mickey and Dina. It was a fast and simple date but it was their time together without the children and out of the house.

Dina and Mickey's Birthday

The very next day following their date Dina and Mickey aged up into adults. I'm not sure how I feel about it but I think it was time for them to be adults. We didn't really do anything very elaborate for their birthdays we just had J and Sage Huntington and Nina and Katrina Cliente over for a birthday dinner.  We did hire a chef and bartender but I feel like that was just a waste of money since Mrs. Dina did a lot of fun baking everything herself.

Small Birthday Party

Mickey Blowing Out Candles

Dina Blowing Out the Candles

I feel like before the teenagers start popping up they should be adults because I feel like they are really the older parents. That being said I don't see them aging up into elders until at least Adam and Steve are about to be young adults. That being said I just noticed that I never posted any pictures of Adam and Steve's outfits so since we are already in cas fixing up Mickey and Dina I think it's appropriate to show off all of their outfits.

The Disney Family Updated Outfits

I'm going to make these pictures extra big since to me it looks too tiny to see the outfits since there are so many pictures mixed into one big picture.

Mickey Disney

With Mickey, I stayed with his red, black, and yellow theme and I added more outfits to his Everday instead of really changing him. There were a couple, and I think changing his hair really help make the outfits look different from one another. I have to admit that the new hairstyles are giving me some time to adjust to him getting older. I just don't think adulthood is treating him and Dina too kindly.

Dina Disney

I think Dina had the most changes between the two because I did add and delete a lot of outfits for her since she is now a mom and I think Dina would rock some mom outfits now. I try not to modify the Sims throughout their lives but I hate how muscular she looks now. She looks totally different than how she was in the beginning, and the craziest thing is she hardly ever works out! From what I see anyways. I did try to take some of her muscles away but she didn't look like the original Dina and I don't know if because she aged up into an adult or what but she is how she is and we still love Dina. But I think she definitely looks older and even after softening her muscles a little but it still looks like I never even touched her muscles. This is just how she wants to be so this is how Dina is.

Aubrey Caliente

I think Aubrey is one of my favorite sims at the moment because she has no storyline, she can do whatever she wants to do and I just love that freedom she has going on right now.  I just mean that with the other three children I have a lot of things that they have to do throughout their lives and even though Aubrey will be small parts of some of the story overall she is free to do whatever she wants. We'll just have to see what happens with her in the future. I have a couple ideas for her but nothing really set in stone at the moment. Since she is about to age up into a teen I really didn't change any of her outfits I just got rid of her extra sleepwear, I never really liked it anyway.

Maleficent Disney

Maleficent is still this sweet, fun-loving child. But that is starting to change a little bit. Maleficent is starting to feel left out here and there with Aubrey while she is starting to get popular and hang out with Kassandra. She is still wearing her signature green, I just wish there were more purple accessories. I think when she gets into a teenager and really pulling away from her family she will start wearing more black with accents of green and purple. We'll just have to see what she ends up in. Since my computer broke and I needed to get a new computer I currently have no CC. I like playing CC free overall so we'll see what I find for Maleficent to wear, and don't be shocked if we get some CC. If I do download some CC I'll make sure to tag it and add it to a list for everyone.

Adam and Steve Disney

I cannot tell you how badly I want the twins to age up. I'm just over toddlers and they can do so much more as children. I feel like we are at a standstill because I'm not ready to age up Aubrey and she needs to age up before any of the other children can. I've even had to go into other sim households and make their friends children again since they aged up into teens. I promise they will be aging up soon I just have one more thing for Aubrey then she will be having a birthday party and then they will all slowly age up too. Don't be too surprised if we have a bunch of birthdays happening. Anyways there are some matching outfits with the twins and I really love them but at the same time, the boys both have outfits that fit their inspirations, such as Steve's first everyday wear he has his little superhero outfit on! I don't know who I'm more excited to age up. I cannot wait to get our perfect loving little Adam to age up into a spoiled little fussy child! It is going to be a huge transformation. Plus I think Steve might be maxing out scouts and I've never done that before so I'm so excited for that!

A Little Sneak Peak: An Updated House Tour Featuring Maleficent's New Bedroom

I know Maleficent isn't a teenager yet but we had some extra money and I wanted to redo Dina's gym anyways so when Dina had the whim to get a washer I took it as an opportunity to make Maleficent's bedroom. I really like how it turned out but the only thing that I wish it had that it doesn't have is a separate entrance so Maleficent could sneak out as a teenager. Right now I have all of the doors locked to the room so none of my sims have been in it yet, but once Maleficent ages up and starts becoming her inner evil self then she will be able to go into that room. As you can see there is a lot of Spellcaster equipment and I do plan on her becoming a spellcaster and go down the evil spells route. I don't know how young she can be before she can turn into a spellcaster but I'll check when I go back into the game. I might look into getting her own entrance, I might be able to move her room to where the gym is because I think that is in the back of the house. We'll just have to see what I can do with it once I go back into the game.

Maleficent also has a huge bathroom attached to her room. My goal is to make it so she never has to leave her own space because once she tears away from her family she isn't going to have any connection to them. It's going to be sad but she's Maleficent she's supposed to be evil and we are shooting for the original Sleeping Beauty movie with little mixes of the new movies. The nice, happy Maleficent was always supposed to be as her child. I think she may also have a few up moments when she finds her love because in the new movie Maleficent was a happy kid and fell in love as a teenager but is betrayed by her lover. Her lover is also supposed to be a secret. So maybe we can portray this scenario in the game while she is a teen.

Since Maleficent is supposed to be completely independent once she tears away we might add a little kitchenette thing in her room since she won't be around her family anymore. We will just have to see what I can work up when I go back into the game.

Along with Maleficent's bedroom, I've redone Dina's gym. I love how it came out and it looks so cute! Dina is really the only one that uses it, so far. Mickey usually only exercises when he takes Pluto for walks. The twins I think will make good use of it when they get older though. I think Adam is supposed to be the hot, popular kid and teen but as a teen where he's been so spoiled and self-centered, he is going to be cursed into a beast. I have a few ideas about how this is going to happen but we will just have to wait and see how it plays out. Steve, on the other hand, is going to be the complete opposite. I see him being that nerdy, scrawny scout who gets all of the badges. Then as a teenager, he gets very patriotic and joins the army as soon as possible then bulks up into the Captain America that we all know. I don't know if I want him to start doing this as a teen or wait until he is a young adult. I don't think he can join the military career until he is a young adult.

On this floor, I added another bathroom since we are about to have 4 children/teens running around in the house, plus the gym. It's a small bathroom that just holds the necessities. Then right across from there, I added her very small laundry room. I still need to change the wallpaper and flooring but for now, it matches the rest of the house.

Finally, the last addition to the house is the photography room. I added it because I wanted pictures of everyone, documenting the family. This is just one of the premade rooms that came with the Moschino pack. It is the very bottom floor and I think it works out perfectly.

Then there was one more room that I did a lot of work on, and I'm still not 100% in love with it yet. This is the kitchen. I needed something more functional for them and overall I think it looks better but it still doesn't look completely right to me. I know it doesn't match the rest of the house, but I do like the layout of it so far. So for now this is what their kitchen looks like.

Gen 2: Aubrey's Sleepover with Katrina?

Since Aubrey had a sleepover with J Huntington III Dina thought it is time for Aubrey to spend some time at their mother's house, Katrina Caliente. Aubrey has never had the best relationship with Katrina however she is still her mother, and she didn't always have a good relationship with J Huntington either.

A Little Refresher

Aubrey is a product of a one night stand between Katrina Caliente and J Huntington III. She was an unplanned pregnancy and to be honest no one really thought that Katrina could even get pregnant anymore. She has two adult daughters, Nina and Dina, and she's on the older side of adulthood. As soon as Katrina got pregnant Dina moved in with Mickey. At the time the couple thought it would be best to give up Dina's room so the new baby could have her own bedroom.

After Aubrey was born Nina invited Dina over to meet their new sister. As soon as she arrived we noticed that Katrina was nowhere to be seen! Dina walked all over the house and couldn't find Aubrey anywhere! She eventually asked Nina where the baby was. Nina was taking care of Aubrey, however, Nina doesn't like kids and never wanted to be in the situation of taking care of a baby. Nina ended up walking Dina out the back door of the house and into the side building that was connected to the house but couldn't be entered without walking outside and back into the room. It became abundantly clear to Dina that no one was really taking care of baby Aubrey!

Dina Taking Care of Aubrey

After Dina spent the whole entire day with Aubrey she started thinking about what she needed to do. She couldn't just leave Aubrey in a home where she would inevitably be taken away due to being neglected. It wasn't until the middle of the night that Katrina even came home! As soon as she got home Dina confronted her and then Katrina threw her out of the house! When Dina got home she went running to Mickey asking what she should do. Dina knew she either had to move back home to take care of her baby sister or maybe move Aubrey in and raise her herself. But as soon as she was done telling Mickey everything that happened while she was at Katrina's house Mickey cut in and said, "D, I think the only solution is for us to step in and raise her. I know we just moved in and we are skipping so many steps here but I don't think there are any other options if neither Katrina or Nina wants to take care of her, and I don't want to see her be taken away by the state." Mickey's response was the moment that Dina knew he was the one for her!

Dina explaining Aubrey's situation to Mickey

Later that week Dina had a serious conversation with both Katrina and Dina about Aubrey. She mentioned how no one was really taking care of her that whole entire day she was over. Dina kept explaining that she wasn't there to judge how they were raising Aubrey, she just wanted to help raise her. The three of them came to the conclusion that neither Katrina nor Nina was capable of raising a baby at the moment, and that Dina could help them raise her. So that day Dina brought her baby sister, Aubrey, home with her. During all of this, I don't know if J Huntington III even knew that Katrina was pregnant. So I don't know if he can be blamed for not being there for Aubrey at the very beginning of Aubrey's life. But I know that raising Aubrey was one of the best things that ever happened to Mickey and Dina.

Mickey Feeding Aubrey

This was always supposed to be temporary for Dina, Mickey, and Aubrey. But while Aubrey grew up in the Disney household there was less and less contact with Nina, Katrina, and J. Nina called and came to visit every now and again, but it wasn't until she was a toddler that Katrina and J started calling. Katrina really started being involved while Aubrey was a toddler. I think her being invited to Mickey and Dina's wedding really helped bridge the gap and create a strong relationship between her and Aubrey.

Nina Visiting Aubrey

Mickey, Nina, Aubrey, and Katrina at Mickey and Dina's Wedding

But as Aubrey aged into a child her relationships with her parents changed. She had siblings in the Disney household that she was being raised with, she's become partners in crime with Maleficent. On her birthday J started reaching out wanting to get to know his daughter. Dina told him if he wanted to know Aubrey than they needed to have a meeting without Aubrey. J's a stranger to Dina and Dina is very protective over her kids. She just wanted to meet with him to see what his intentions were because she would love nothing more than for Aubrey to get to know her dad. While they were having a meeting Dina learned that J has married Sage and that they had a little girl together! Dina was surprised but loved the fact that he was settled down, and she and Sage have quickly become friends.

Over the past few years of  Aubrey's life, she has become really close to J, Sage, and Kassandra. She and Kassandra even created the Kidz Klub together while she was staying a week with J. I think the fact that J is in the family mode with Sage and Kassandra it helps make Aubrey want to get to know him and a whole other side of her family that she never knew up until this point.

Aubrey and Kassandra

However, with the ups comes to the downs. As Aubrey was getting closer to J she was losing a relationship with Katrina. Both Katrina and Nina have residence keys to the Disney households, and usually, that encourages Sims just to pop in all of the time. One great example was Supriya Delegato, she and Mickey have been best friends since he moved into Brindleton Bay and she's had a residence key just as long, and she shows up all the time! I think while Aubrey was a toddler Katrina and Nina really did show up all the time, but as she's gotten older we see less and less of them both.

Another thing that really put a hold on Katrina and Aubrey's relationship was the fact that Katrina got pregnant not long after J and Sage did, and she even got married to Travis Scott! I don't know if she lost the baby or if the baby was taken away due to neglect but none of the Disney households ever met the new baby, and even I can't find it. I got the notification that she was pregnant and then my game glitched so who really knows what happened to the baby. But anyways all of these huge life changes happened for Katrina yet she never told Dina or Aubrey. She really just cut them out of her life. Dina's at the age where she's used to it and it doesn't really phase her anymore, but Aubrey is just a child and was really hurt by this.

Now

Since Aubrey has been getting so close to J and has been getting so hurt by Katrina, Dina is determined to find out what is going on and put an end to it. She's tired of seeing her kid hurt and disappointed. So one day while Aubrey was at school Dina went over to the Caliente residence to meet with Katrina and Nina. The three of them were catching up and having a really good time. They talked about how grown up Aubrey was getting and Dina started talking to Katrina about how she needs to decide whether she wants to be in her life or not and she needed to decide now because she is done hurting her kid. Dina says, "Katrina, you have one last chance to decide how you want your relationship with Aubrey to be. She's a kid and your the adult. You have all say on what your relationship with her is like and you need to figure it out."

From the pictures above you can see that Nina's really grown up since Aubrey moved in with Dina. I think it was a wake-up call for her and she's been putting in the work to be able to take care of Aubrey if Aubrey ever moved back in with Katrina. In the picture of Nina showing Dina Aubrey's bedroom, you can tell that she was getting frustrated because Katrina isn't there with them. They were literally sitting downstairs in their living room and they brought Dina upstairs just to show her Aubrey's room, but Katrina snuck off to play on the computer instead. Then it took me forever to get Katrina to go in there, I had to create a group just to do it. Then while Dina and Katrina were talking on the bed they started arguing. It was finally settled when Dina said, "I will let Aubrey decide if she wants a relationship with you, and if she wants to stay the weekend with you then you will let her and you will build on your relationship with her. If you mess this chance up then I'm done trying."

When Aubrey got home from school that day Dina sat her down and they talked it out. Aubrey decided that she wanted to go stay the weekend with Katrina starting today, which was Thursday. Dina agreed to take her over to Katrina's house after dinner but she had to promise to call her if anything went wrong so she could come to get her.

On Aubrey's first night with Katrina, everything went smoothly for the most part. The only thing that went awry was Katrina and Travis got into a huge fight. Aubrey has never met Travis up until this moment. After their fight Katrina stormed off and Travis stayed to have dinner with Aubrey and Nina.

As soon as they were done eating dinner Aubrey went to the table to work on her homework and then headed off to bed since she still had school the next day. After her drama club the next day Aubrey came home and did her homework and then started cleaning the house. She started playing the piano some, and then there was a knock on the door. It turns out it was Maleficent! Maleficent was missing Aubrey and wanted to come to see her, and Aubrey felt the same way and asked her to stay the night!

As soon as Maleficent went home Aubrey went up to her room to play doctor with her bear. She was having fun. Then she hears Katrina calling her from the hallway. When Aubrey went out to see what Katrina wanted, Katrina started yelling at her. Turns out Katrina felt that Aubrey should've asked before inviting Maleficent to stay the night and then the two started to argue. This conversation ended with Aubrey leaving and going back home to the Disney house.

I'm not sure what the future will hold for Aubrey and Katrina. Katrina is a hot-headed sim, which means that she gets angry easily or even picks fights for fun. She also kept having the option to try and steal money from Aubrey, and I'm not sure if it was from a trait or if it was just her personality. But for now, these two have hardly any relationship. I think she will continue to talk to Nina but we will just have to wait and see what happens with Katrina, and if there is any relationship it will be after she is a young adult or something huge happens that pulls these two together.
