You Get a Club, and You Get a Club!

While Aubrey was staying with J she started branching out from her family and becoming really popular. One of the things that she did was start a club, which we learned a little bit about in the last post. So I wanted to go a little bit more in-depth with her club here, plus show you Dina's club.

Aubrey's club is called the Kidz Klub, and I thought it would be a fun way to build up her relationships with people her age. I can see her finding a teen club once she ages up too, which will be soon-ish. The only requirement for this club is that you are a child since it is a kid club. Anyways the first two people she invited to her club were her sisters, Maleficent and Kassandra. These are two of her closest friends, with Maleficent they are Partners in Crime and with Kassandra they are Best Friends.

The group loves to play games, do their homework, and just be funny with one another. Since they are kids they don't have a set club hangout spot, they really just bounce among each other's houses.  I think Aubrey prefers hanging out at J's house because there are more kid activities there, for Easter J redid the backyard to make half of it a kid paradise and the other half for Sage's gardening. As you can see in the picture below we have been able to add an extra member already, and I want to unlock the next slot before Aubrey ages up.

For the rest of the kids in the group, I knew we had to have Evie and Max because Max I think is going to play a key role soon in my story and Mickey's best friend since our game started is Superya Delegato which is Evie's mother. So those two were the next that I knew we had to have in the group. For the last two I really just added two boys to help even out the group a little bit and Aubrey already somewhat knew Emilie and Zander because of school.

My main goal for this group is to help complete Aubrey's childhood aspiration, which is a social butterfly. I also see Aubrey becoming this popular, outgoing person who is the complete opposite of what Maleficent is going to turn into. Right now in the house, Maleficent is closest to Aubrey and the twins are close to each other. Eventually Miss Maleficent is going to start going down the evil path and I think this might be the stepping stone to start her down this path, and maybe Max is going to help that too. Before I made this group Maleficent and Max were hitting it off but so far they haven't gotten along when the groups hang out, at least from what I see. We'll just have to see what happens with these two. I'm having just so many different ideas that are going to catapult Maleficent down a path of evil but I haven't seen a clear indicator yet other than her trying to skip class with Aubrey.

Since both Sage and Dina like to garden and they've really become close friends they made a club. It's just the gardening club. There isn't really a big goal for this club other than the fact that Dina literally only knew people in her family and I wanted her to branch out. For the club, they just get together at each other's houses and work on their gardens. Again they go more to Sage's house because there are more land and a bigger garden there than at the Disney house. I'm thinking about getting rid of Mickey. He doesn't really garden and I think she would also have a cooking club, but I don't know if she is going to have two clubs. Mickey is very sociable on his own and knows so many people because of his Friend of the World aspiration. I'll give it a little bit of time and see if I like him in it, but J isn't in the club either so that's another reason I might boot Mickey out.

As of right now none of the rest of the household is in a club. I like how both Dina and Aubrey branched out and created their own clubs. I think it is nice that they kind of have the same social skills and like to be around people. It's just something cute that they have in common with one another.

Anyways I have a few posts already planned out and mostly done now. We are going to have some birthday parties coming up, another updated house tour because there are some big changes that I've made to the house, Aubrey's staying a week with Katrina, and we are going to look at the whole families outfits. I don't know if the outfit one is going to be a post by itself or apart of the birthday posts. I want to age up pretty much all of them right now but we will just have to see how many get aged up.

Gen 2: Aubrey's Sleepover with J Huntington III

As you all know Aubrey isn't Mickey and Dina's biological child but they raise her as their own. She is technically Dina's half-sister that Katrina had with J Huntington III. Since Aubrey aged up into a toddler she has had more contact with both J and Katrina. They send her birthday and random gifts in the mail, Katrina comes over to see her, and J calls and invites her over sometimes. Since she is now a child she has been wanting to get to know her parents more, especially since she has another new sibling that is younger than her on her dad's side! Aubrey has asked Mickey and Dina if it would be okay for her to spend the night at her parents' houses. At first, Dina was hesitant because she has never met J or his wife, Sage, before. But Mickey is friends with Sage and tells her that Sage is an amazing mother and Aubrey will be safe if Dina is okay with her visiting staying the night there. So it was agreed that she could stay the night with J as long as they were allowed to go over and visit with them first to make sure everything is safe for Aubrey.

This really came out really weird and a long process. Mickey already knew J and Sage, but since he hasn't talked to Sage in so long he actually lost all relationship with her. So Mickey was able to invite J over to their house so he could see Aubrey and Dina could get to know J Huntington III.

Aubrey Playing Chess with Sage

Dina and Maleficent talking to J Huntington III

After Dina and J became acquaintances J invited everyone over to his house because he really wanted Dina to get to know him and be comfortable with Aubrey staying the night at his house. As soon as Dina and Mickey showed up at his house he was able to show them the room he had built onto the house for Aubrey and Kassandra to share.

Aubrey and Kassandra's Bedroom at J's House

Dina loved that Aubrey had her own place there at his house, and she agreed that Aubrey she get to know her little sister. Everyone spent the whole day at his house getting to know each other.

Aubrey playing with

There is a Jungle Gym at J's for Aubrey

While they were at J's house Katrina showed up. She wanted to know why they were at J's house! Dina explained to Katrina that J is Aubrey's father and she has the right to get to know her father and her baby sister. But Dina wanted to get to know J before she allowed Aubrey to spend the night at his house. It's crazy how similar Katrina and Sage are! In this game J definitely has a thing for Sage. I love looking at the families under the managed worlds tab because I love seeing who the townies all end up with on their own.

Sage, Katrina, Mickey, and Dina Talking Outside

While everyone was talking Katrina mentioned that if Dina allows Aubrey to stay here overnight then she wants her to spend more time at her house too. Dina told Katrina that when she starts acting like an appropriate parent than she wouldn't object to Aubrey spending more time at her house, but we will just have to wait and see what happens there. Meanwhile, Dina and Mickey both became great friends with Sage and J and both feel confident that Aubrey would be safe staying with J if she wants to spend the night there. As they were leaving J's house Aubrey asked if she could stay at his house for a little while and get to know her father, stepmother, and sister.

One thing that I've noticed on the first day of Aubrey staying the week with J was how much that she and sister look alike! She was a toddler while all the adults were hanging out and then as soon as Dina and Mickey left and it was time to go to bed she aged up into a child! If I would've known it was her birthday we would've had a party for her! But this way I think it works out a little bit better because I want these two to become best friends!

Before Mickey and Dina left Mickey wanted to tuck Aubrey in, he and Dina take turns tucking in the kids every night.

Mickey Putting Aubrey to Bed Before Leaving

The whole entire time Aubrey was staying at J's everyone kept calling checking up on her, asking her to come to visit, and to just go out with them! Mickey called a couple of times, Maleficent even called to ask her to skip school, but Dina called at least once every single day! It was cute but it got annoying so fast. Aubrey didn't skip school with Maleficent but I thought this was perfect just seeing her starting to go down the evil path! If this wasn't her first day at J's I think Aubrey would've gone with Maleficent. I can have a little bit of a different story with Aubrey since she isn't part of the main story that is already mapped out and I love it. The only thing that really annoys me her right now is that she doesn't have Dina listed as her adoptive mom which I get she wouldn't since she is her sister but I wish she had Maleficent counted as her sister instead of her niece! They are being raised together and I think they see each other more like sisters.

Maleficent asking Aubrey to Skip School

Another thing that happened on Aubrey's first day at J's is that Kassandra aged up! If I would've realized that it was her birthday we would've thrown her a birthday party, but oh well. Let me tell you I cannot tell you how much they look alike. You can tell that Kassandra and Aubrey are sisters.

Not only do the two sisters look alike but so does Sage and Katrina! This is something that I sort of noticed when I first saw that J and Sage got married because both Sage and Katrina have red hair. But even their faces look similar to each other! It really hit me when Katrina called Sage and their faces were popped up beside each other. J still has a noncommittal trait in this game. I didn't change him whatsoever so it is crazy that he is married and doing the family thing. Every time Aubrey saw him since she aged up he always seemed fine but during the week we definitely saw his struggle with it.

Katrina Called Sage
I was determined to just let Sage, J, and Kassandra just do whatever they normally would've done throughout the day without controlling them but Sage didn't work. She had maxed out her fishing but she literally was at the house 24/7 so I decided she needed a job since everyone was out of the house at school and work but her. So she started working as a gardener. I thought she would like it since she likes being outside and already had a garden going. I did modify their house a little bit. I think I'm going to do a house tour of it just because I can see Aubrey and her Kidz Klub hanging out there a lot since they really made it up for her and Kassandra. It is like a child's paradise right now. Kidz Klub is something that Aubrey created towards the end of her stay with J. She has definitely become a social butterfly while living there, she joined an afterschool activity and created her own club. I think I'm also going to make a post to show off her club too since I've learned how to make the screenshots, they just take some time.

Sage Contemplating What to Grow Next

Since everyone kept calling and checking in with Aubrey she did go over one night to check on everyone at the Disney household.

Dina Misses Aubrey so MUCH!

Aubrey and Maleficent spent the whole evening playing!

They are so sassy!

The next day Aubrey hung out with Kassandra all day, and in the beginning, she was so thrilled.

Kassandra so thrilled to hang out with Aubrey
I do have a mod where I have some extra traits and at this point, I started realizing that Kassandra was always tired, and she would get tired to the point of passing out by noon! I realized that she had the 'Sleepy' trait so I did use my MCCC and changed it to 'Cheerful' I think.

Aubrey and Kassandra

Most of the week was very uneventful so I think that was another reason why we started a club so we can have some content. On the very last day, it ended up being Easter! So I spent the whole day there and they all had so much fun. First, the girls had a pretty laid back morning.

Aubrey and Kassandra on Easter Morning

The girls got a mega huge present from J and Sage. It was really a backyard makeover where half the yard was for the girls and the other half is Sage's garden. The big thing they got was the pirate ship playground. Up until this time they only had the monkey bars and a few toys.

Sage and Aubrey Playing Pirates

The Easter Bunny appeared towards the end of the day and the girls and Sage had so much fun with him.

I think I'm going to leave the rambling here. For more pictures and a little faster up to date information on my Disney Legacy please check out the Instagram I created for them, ShayKays_Sims. I'm trying to post at least one picture a day but I have this thing where I just spam pictures at the end of the day. I don't mean too. I just have so many different pictures I want to post but I don't want to clump them together so it is what it is. I just have no self-control when I finally have something to post. I am trying to hold pictures off until I post the story but again I can get content up faster over there then I can get it over it here sometimes.

Favorite Sim YouTubers

Since I'm currently working on a really interesting storyline with Aubrey and it hasn't completely finished where I can post it yet I'm going to a little short and sweet post about my favorite YouTubers that post about the Sims. Just like everyone else who plays the Sims I have moments where I just don't play and couldn't care less about the game. One of the ways that I get over these slumps is by watching some of my favorite YouTubers who play the game. My favorite gamer on YouTube that I love so much and have watched almost every video she posts is Clare! Clare is probably one of them that really pulled me into watching YouTube, and started my YouTube obsession. She has a massive legacy family where they all started from her Sim self and her boyfriend, but I'm not sure if she plays with them that much. However, her story was amazing and I just went back through and watched all of them a few months ago. Along with her massive storyline, she has a lot of challenges and collabs that she does. To be completely honest I think I found her because of her Disney challenge that she did a long time ago, I think it was a Hunger Games version, and I just became so obsessed with her attitude and storytelling that I just became obsessed with her story. She is currently working on a Disney Princess Legacy that I'm completely obsessed with at the moment! I believe she is currently on Cinderella, generation 2. Not going to lie her Disney challenge definitely gave me some inspiration when creating our massive storyline.

My next three YouTubers are newer to my subscriber list and I haven't gone full-on obsession level yet but I have stories that I watch religiously with each of them. The first one is James Turner! He does a lot of rags to riches or his own spin on things. But I was introduced to Turner through his Super Sim challenge that he did! I was so obsessed with it that I was determined to do a SuperSims challenge too. SuperSim is where you do all of the aspirations, complete all of the skills, and I believe he completed all of the collections too. I loved it and have made my own little skill thing to track all of this information for my own sims but I haven't had any true success yet. I've been trying to figure out how to work it into the Disney Challenge that we are currently working on (the collection bit that I'm obsessed with completing) but I think it might be a really hard thing to complete in a generation. We will just have to see what we have going on and maybe on a slower generation, we can pull this wild card out. The next Sim YouTuber I've recently found is Plumbella. She recently took a step away from the YouTube scene but I think she is back now. One of the things that I really love from her is that she plays some of the older sims and compares them to Sims 4 and what really got me hooked on Plumbella was her history videos! She would go through and explain the timeline with each person who came from the original Sims. I'm a total junkie for those videos! Finally, the third Simmer that I've become obsessed within the last year or so is Mewlissa. I've found her after all her big series had to start over due to the fact that she lost her saved games. So she has about three different video series that she has gone right now that she just started not too long ago, and I've been letting them pile up and then binge-watching them all. I think one of the biggest reasons that I really love her channel is because her three series are the bigger challenges that we see all over the place but I haven't seen completely played out before. Her three stories at the moment are the 100 babies challenge, zodiac legacy, and black widow.

One more YouTuber I wanted to mention is MiraRae. She is completely new to me but I wanted to mention her because I really love her sim story that she was going on. She has a massive legacy going right now of royalty! I was actually introduced to her through her explaining her family tree, I think it is the newest one. But from what I can tell she broke the Sim world down into different empires where they all have different royal families, such as the king and queen of Brindleton Bay! I just love this idea and I've been wanting to pull up all her old videos for this family and just binge-watch all of them just so I can see how this royal family began. I know it was explained in her family tree video but I think it would be fun to just binge watch it and see how it all came to be. So she is definitely the newest one to this list and I really don't know much about her at the moment but I just love her idea so much and I've never heard anything about this until I came across her video a couple weeks ago.

I know this is a random post but I'm not ready to post the Disney's next story yet but at the same time it is Sunday and I needed to get something out. I feel like I talk about YouTube a lot and I thought it would be great to show off some of my Sim inspiration plus this shows how I get some motivation to pick up the game while I'm in a slump and I feel like we all have slumps when it comes to everything in life!

Christmas with the Disneys

Christmas came to Brindleton Bay! The four Disney children were all excited and couldn't wait for Santa Claus to come! While Dina was making breakfast Aubrey went outside with Pluto to make Snow Angels.

After she was done making her snow angel she thought of the perfect present for Maleficent. She wanted to introduce her to Max Villareal! Aubrey met him earlier in the week at school and instantly thought of her sister. The second they met each other they really hit it off! Maleficent can't explain why they are so similar but something just clicks between them.

Soon Max had to go home. Mickey thought it would be a fun idea to get a bare tree so the family could decorate it together. So all of the Disneys started decorating the Christmas tree while Dina was cooking dinner.

Since they had some time before Santa showed up the Disneys worked on Maleficent's school project to help get her grades up. It was also a really cute family moment among these people. She had to build a space model that helped boost everyone's rocket science skills.

Finished Building Maleficent School Project

Christmas with the Disneys was pretty dramatic too! First, we had Katrina over! For anyone new to the story Katrina is Aubrey's birth mom and she wasn't the most present mother for Aubrey and even now she still doesn't come around all that much, so her being here for the holidays was a huge step for her. Not only did Katrina put a good first step in with Aubrey but she also made an effort to mend her relationship with Dina. Dina is also her daughter, her and Mickey took Aubrey in while she was still a baby so she doesn't even remember living with Katrina.

Dina and Katrina Hugging

I think Katrina is an awesome grandma but as a mother, she is a lot less hands-on. She recently got married to Travis Scott and that was totally different adventure in itself. I don't have any pictures of the ceremony because I literally got a notification that she was pregnant with his baby and then when we went to visit her she was no longer pregnant but she was married to him now. I'm not sure if she had a miscarriage or if the game glitched and meant that she really got married instead of pregnant. I feel like she is about to age up into an elder. I know Dina and Mickey are about to age up into adults and when that happens I will post their new outfits over on Instagram. I know I've given Dina some new outfits that aren't on her outfit card anymore because I feel like now that she is a mom and a wife her outfits matured with her a little bit. She still has some of her fiesty outfits, I was just really tired of seeing the same outfits over and over on her.

After a little family time, the Disneys all started opening up their presents, which was so hard! I could not get them all around the presents at one time. So we have a few different pictures of them around the presents. Some came out pretty cute but others were just a mess.

Maleficent Grabbing a Present

The rest of them I can't find their pictures! But everyone got at least one present throughout the day and then another one from Santa at the end of the night.

The family was able to work on Aubrey's school project too! Katrina even got involved during this project! I thought this was adorable since we don't see Katrina that often and even when she is involved she either disappears or has nothing to do with the kids.

Dina, Mickey, Aubrey, Katrina, and Maleficent working on Aubrey's school project

I think this is the perfect place to wrap up this entry! For more of the story please look at previous entries or over on my Simstagram. Instagram is a little bit easier to communicate with you all and to update so sometimes it does get a little ahead, however, I try to keep the story going first before I post over there. It just depends on what all is going on in real life that week. If you have any comments or suggestions please let me know and I'll be back in a couple days! I have a huge, hopefully interesting, side story coming out Friday for Miss Aubrey!

Gen 2: Adam and Steve Have Arrived!

Dina knew she was going to have a baby but she chose not to find out whether it was a boy or girl until she had the baby. She wanted to be surprised and decided what could be the harm of not finding out the gender until he or she arrived. Dina also wanted to get in as much quality time with her daughters before her baby arrived.

While she was preparing for the birth of a new baby her and Mickey talked about baby names. They narrowed the boy's names down to two names but couldn't agree on a girls name at all. Finally, the day came! While she was in labor she decided to have the baby at home where she was most comfortable! After she had the baby she quickly realized that there was another one! It turns out that Mrs. Dina Disney was pregnant with twins, both of whom were boys. Since both of the twins were boys Dina and Mickey were able to use both of their favorite names and named the babies Adam Disney and Steve Disney.

Steve and Adam Disney

Having two babies at once kept Dina and Mickey on edge 24/7. Plus they had a toddler and a child to watch over. The Disney household was bouncing with nonstop energy.

Mickey Spending Time with his Boys

The couple had to come up with a completely new living style since their family of five quickly became a family of 6, plus Dina didn't get leave this time to stay home with hew newborn babies! Luckily she was off for 3 days when she had the babies, but as soon as those were up she returned to work as normal. Mickey had to learn how to take of a toddler and the boys all on his own while Dina was at work. This became a struggle and having Aubrey there really helped Mickey and Dina. Aubrey and Maleficent are best friends and she helped keep her entertained while Dina and/or Mickey were taking care of the boys.

Gen 2: Toddler Maleficent!

Since aging up into a toddler life at the Disney household has been extremely busy. Instead of just having one daughter they now have two! Miss Aubrey loves her new sister and spends time with her every chance she gets.

Dina and Mickey adore Maleficent! There isn't a single second of the day that Maleficent is ever really alone!

Even Pluto will take turns guarding Aubrey and Maleficent while they sleep!

Pluto Guarding Maleficent while she Sleeps

But with all the fun this family has Maleficent is still a toddler. With being a toddler there are times where things don't run so smoothly, such as the time Maleficent pulled out all the paint and through it all over the floor! She found this so funny but Mickey didn't have fun cleaning up the mess.

Maleficent Making a Mess

A big that Mickey and Dina were worried about was either Aubrey feeling left out or not being able to spend the same amount of time with Maleficent as they were able to do with Aubrey. But not long after becoming a toddler Mickey and Dina were able to fall into a sort of schedule where they woke up Aubrey for school, got her ready and out the door. Then they would spend the rest of the school day with Maleficent. As soon as Aubrey gets home from school they help her with her homework while either Dina or Mickey cooks. Some days Dina has to run into work while Mickey is left home alone with the girls. This works out fantastic because Mickey is a freelancer and is able to get work whenever he has free time, which is usually late in the night while his girls are sleeping.

Dina Hugging Maleficent

A lot of you may wonder why does Maleficent has such a happy childhood so far since she is based on the evil witch from Sleeping Beauty. Well in my head I have a hard time seeing anyone just start off evil! I think something has to happen to them along the way and since most of the time my sims live these boring traditional lives usually as a freelancer or veterinarian I wanted to spin out some. So I see her as a smart, happy toddler. I want to max out all of her toddler skills and relationships with her family. But as she grows up her interests start changing and moving away from what her family ideas are. I want this disconnect to happen after her sibling is born and they are a toddler. Maybe play with the jealousy a little since she is no longer the youngest child. Maybe she feels neglected since Dina and Mickey are now split in another direction other than just with her and Aubrey. Before we found Aubrey I really hoped that Maleficent was the firstborn. Since we now have an Aubrey my plans have changed quite a bit. My new hope is that Dina is pregnant with twins, preferably twin boys because I feel like twin siblings might make Maleficent feel a little left out since the twins might prefer one another over Maleficent and Aubrey isn't technically her sister she's her aunt. So as an older child, she starts seeing herself differently than the rest of her family and starts hanging out with the 'bad kids.' As a teen, Maleficent will fully resent her family and have poor relationships with all of her family and start leaning down the road she is traditionally seen to be in. As a toddler, I can't do much down the evil side anyways so I think this will really help bridge her into that role later on in life. For more information about my goals for this little cutie please check out an earlier blog post titled, "ShayKay's Disney Legacy Challenge - Generations 2 Goals." In the post, I list out all of the specifics about the second generation and my hopes to come out of this new generation.
